Again going back again is not easy..
people who are living for years have build their assets : furniture, cars, Home etc. they are financed and mortgaged.

It has already become home for them.\
MOST IMPORTANTLY : They have full time jobs here, so you are saying its easy for them to leave all these things which they have achieved and go back .

I dont think if you know,

When students used to come to Canada, there was an immigration rule to attract students.
Come here study , work for an year in the same field you studied and get a PR.

that is why students were coming to Canada considering that option.

You guys sitting home didnt spend a penny, and competing with CEC candidates.
Of course people who are living here for years know better than you who is sitting besides the desktop and giving free misleading advises to people.
Yes, we are in the pool. We will get nominations. We will get PR. Just because you are in Canada does not give you any kind of high ground. Yes, people with expiring work permits can and should be given priority. If your permit is expiring in mid 2017 and you have applied in, say, March, you gotta wait in the queue. I feel very bad for the applicants whose WPs have expired. Its a very pathetic situation for them. However, FSW applicants have been waiting for ages too. We are in no way inferior to CEC candidates, please make a note of that. This is a paid process - everyone has paid the fee. So everyone has the right to expect their nominations in due time. You should show your frustration to OINP (if you can do that); not on the FSW applicants on the forum :) .

people living there were never promised of a PR before their work permit expire, when they entered as Students. They gave you three years to earn back your money spent on education plus save something to go back and settle. why the greed now? cant they go back and come back when they get PR. No country except the 2 USA and Australia gives you PR for just being in the country.
I don't agree with this kind of slime spitting. "Greed"? Really? They have equal rights to expect PR like you so do, if not more. If you meant to ask "Would it not be possible to leave the country and then come back as a PR", this is definitely not the way to put it.

Yep everyone has paid fees, but you have not paid taxes, and what taxes are in Canada. You gonna get to know once you will be here.

I wish you were in the same boat as we are.

I dont have grudges against FSW, but if you guys sitting at home and questioning the CEC candidates, Why dont you go back home?

then sorry you guys know only one side of the coin, having said that you have no right to question us " why dont we go home?"

And of course CEC candidates with work permits close to the expiration date should give the priority.
And they will get the priority which we will see in upcoming draws.

Good luck to both CEC and FSW candidates.

Never did or will I say "You guys should go home" kind of stuff. I've never said that. I condemn those words said by bestofluck - and I apologize for the frustration it might have caused you. I was just trying to convey that CEC applicants whose permits are valid well into the future need not be(rather should not be) given priority over FSW applicants who have applied before them.

Recently 2 of my close fiends went to Canada on student visa and I know for a fact that they had to write in SOP that they would be returning to India. Now everyone knows that for majority of international students from India that's just baloney.
Just still students commit to coming back. From what I know they have to do so. Same for Australia student visa process.

Now you have two options, you get your work experience there, pay higher taxes OR you can come back to India and pay less taxes and maybe not even pay rent...

If your life in Canada is so hard, you can always come to India to gain your work experience and then apply for PR and later go back...
Think about it, good idea isn't it? :)

I usually don't respond to rants, but taxes you paid are for living there for a given time, not for PR.
there are many who are much more qualified than some of the people inland, and too there are many who are under qualified, since we agreed to the rules of the game, no use bouncing back and complain now, you agreed to be evaluated against few rules that applies to you as well as outlanders, right? no where is it mentioned that tax paying will give you specific merit.

LOl anujgoyal you pay taxes because you earn. you have to contribute to the nation as per rules. What has a PR to do with taxes paid? you utilized the services given by governments too. so it is one kind of payment. you have not donated the amount....

Please refrain from posting comments against CEC. Everyone here to help. so do that. Don't use your mind to judge what government should do and who deserves PR. This is the last warning.

Guys no point of discussion about CEC and FSW. If IRCC or OINP think that they should give priority to CEC, it is their right and no body can stop them. If IRCC and OINP think candidates should be FCFS regardless of category it is also their privilege.

So whatever Canada is doing, we have to accept it with grudges or without grudges. Our internal discussions, views, opinions etc. are not going to affect it anyway.

Better to have views and opinions as far as discussion is healthy. Cacophony, blaming and posturing should be avoided.

On a more serious note, have you guys been considering any backup plan? Or is it just myself who's making second/third/fourth (sic) plan, like SINP as soon as it reopens, PEI or Australia...
How much confidence are you guys left with in ON?

Yup! Everyone needs nominations! FSW and CEC! What we are doing here is more like 2 states in India fighting for water. Its stupid! Ask applicants who have submitted an application and got an AOR should get a nomination as early as possible.
