i agree on that thought as well, however, as i have lived in Canada for a year, it seems that immigration is the only thing in that country that runs so bad and slow and faulty. U will see, when u land there, u will issue a SIN, Bank account, Health card and have dinner in less than a couple of hours!. On a side note, i see OINP nominating one or two applicants from Oct, Nov applicants every now and then, so i am beginning to lose faith in the batch nominations theory, i mean they are not at a complete No nominations policy right now, yet again maybe those are the applicants left over the desks from the old individual processing way, rather than the mass processing pattern. On a call with the operator guy from oinp, regarding a change of passport copy that i had sent earlier, he told me i can see it in the system on the screen, its clear that things are going digital over there.maged_mmh said:I reckon they regard outland applications as non time sensitive nor compelling
The application being complete doesn't necessarily mean the documents are all verified and the applicant is eligible for nomination. Back in 2015, an applicant submitted his documents and he got his AOR. After this, the applicant was rejected and did not get his 1500 CAD fee back because he did not have at least a "Bachelor's degree". Another applicant was rejected in a similar manner because he did not have at least 1 year work experience in the primary NOC in the past 5 years. These things are determined after AOR. AOR is just a completion check. However, rejections are very rare - Unless they have a very compelling reason to reject you, it usually doesn't happen!maged_mmh said:but it says in aor that the application is deemed complete ???
so investigation/acceptance is done, unless further verification is needed
then why they were so hasty in issuing AORs?Moh.Salem said:i agree on that thought as well, however, as i have lived in Canada for a year, it seems that immigration is the only thing in that country that runs so bad and slow and faulty. I've been having it everyday since Feb, 2016 . Lets hope we are done with this soon! All the best !!maged_mmh said:anybody else has a feeling that we'll hear some news update from OINP today or tomorrow?
can't believe it! what sort of completion does not verify degrees and experience? what is meant by completion then???rajkamalmohanram said:The application being complete doesn't necessarily mean the documents are all verified and the applicant is eligible for nomination. Well, they cannot issue nominations without issuing AORs I guess . OINP works in mysterious ways!maged_mmh said:then why they were so hasty in issuing AORs?
just to collect the fees?
I fail to see any reasoning for their actions or the lack thereof! :
I'm hoping for news update rather than any actions (like nominations) heavens forbidrajkamalmohanram said:I've been having it everyday since Feb, 2016 . Lets hope we are done with this soon! All the best !!
so the point of AoRs is to issue nominations.rajkamalmohanram said:Well, they cannot issue nominations without issuing AORs I guess . OINP works in mysterious ways!
Well, you have to. Those are well-known cases. Completion check is simple - it might go like this - the person has a checklist and checks off items that are there on the list. If something is missing (photos, for instance), that application is returned. However, after AOR, an officer checks all the documents, checks the NOC and tallies it with the roles, tries to verify the experience/details on application by calling applicants etc. All these activities happen after AOR.maged_mmh said:can't believe it! what sort of completion does not verify degrees and experience? what is meant by completion then???
I wouldn't know. I have been trying to get a timeline for nomination but in vain. Sad .maged_mmh said:so the point of AoRs is to issue nominations.
