It all makes sense @bestofluck. Your bank was right. Your DD must have been cleared way back in April and your file number must be reflecting that. It's just OINP sat on your AOR till they reached other 22-Dec applicants.

Just FYI.... patnikrishna was asked for a new DD. His original one was from ICICI bank/Bank of Montreal

@DigitalDestiny , ya the bank must be right, but I am waiting for your DD to be cleared to confirm. But frankly my file number is way different, but it is not less than 27XX what they are discussing it is actually much more than that !!

How is it different? I mean, put it down here the format. Helps people to deduce.

@DigitalDestiny, sorry i removed the post. I confirmed , it is actually less than 27XX so you may be right.

But the processing will only start after AOR, and the processing time will be different for all...so file numbers now dont play a very imp role.

Actually, when bestofluck checked with his bank in April, he was was informed that his draft stands encashed. That was well ahead of the time so we thought bank folks were not giving credible information.

But now when bestofluck received the AOR, the file number is below 2700 while other december applicants with similar timelines as him are having file number in 2900 range. So looking at the filenumber and also because he hasn't received duplicate DD request so far, looks like bestofluck's DD was indeed encashed in April itself. That's what we were discussing.

In my AOR they say that :

"OINP will notify you when your application moves to the assessment phase and again when your application moves to the decision phase".

What does that mean?
Will they be more transparent from now on?
Will they notify us in what stage our application is?

That would be great news!

They should be transparent. They want us not to inquire about the status of our application till the Assessment phase, which means processing will only start after you get the mail saying your file is moved to Assessment phase. To me, it is prolonged AOR nothing else. They sent us AOR because it was too late but they are not processing it immediately is for sure. In other words it will be 90 days from Assessment phase and not AOR !!!

It is in fact Bad News

Hi Guys, its nice to see this forum active..

I just got my AOR, Dec 30th Applicant - CEC.

Can some one answer my below queries

1)I can see people are talking about Case Officer Initiala? Not sure from where you got that?

2)In My AOR, I have Case# and File#. But, In my Receipt the given File# is similar as Case# in AOR? Is this how you guys have?

3)I did not get any additional documents request in AOR, I see people are talking about ECA. Do I need to request WES for duplicate ECA or shall I wait till OINP ask for one.
