we also saw a GU today, and it is coincidentally 2 months after the last update. it may be because every 2 months without activity it pops up on the office task list. Hopefully the officer also followed up with the rest of teams working on BG, prohibitions, etc.
Looking forward to seeing some new updates soon.

It's not a glitch. Today I logged in and I checked my Background Verification changed from In-Progress to Completed and rest are in-progress and the Update says its updated on March 28th when I actually got the ghost update. Now my profile is showing Updated on March 30th on the top.

I am MB/SK but nothing yet my online application was December 22, 2023
I also got ghost update on 28th march but no background check completed for me
Is there anyone who got ghost update on 28th march but did not get any real update yet?
I guess it's simple. Let's all wait until next week. I have a good feeling a few Vancouver applicants will get background completed next week. Unfortunately, long weekend came at the wrong time as updates may not show until Thursday (assuming those status are added to file on Tuesday).
