Finally some positive news to report: I got my AOR at 7:25am this morning. 2 months and 1 week between application received and getting AOR...

Application sent - Dec 05, 2018
Received date - Dec 7, 2018
Eligibility days - 1100 days
Location: Ottawa, Ontario
App type: Single
AOR - February 14, 2019 @ 7.25 am

Congratulations.
They have been awfully slow lately. In the Valentines day, hope they send some love of AOR to more people!

Hi, My post may have been overlooked. My application is "In Process". Status changed on Feb 13. Please update (Line 8)

Hi There,
I am very confused about the question number 13 due to my own status in different countires. I was in an African country where I did not have a work permit or resident permit. The way it used to work was they would give an on arrival visa like a visitor visa of 1 month validity. One would then apply for an extension they would give an extension visa 2 moths validity with comments like - Work, Business, or Mission. And the same cycle...

I have like 5 + such extension visas. Not sure should I mention it at all or not.
No
1) because I read somewhere that time duration also matters like more than 6 months on a single visa so I never got a more than 2 months on any single visa.
2) There are so many visas, it would be super difficult to explain

Yes
The only thing that comes to mind is because I stayed there for a year and worked! So technically I should

Note
I am ready to submit my application for the last 15 days just becuase of this confusion, I am not submitting:(:(:(:(. Fear of misrepresentation...

You need to mention it. You can use one row and mention visitor and worker in same cell they r just concerned that u declare ur statuses in other countries not declaring will ofcourse will be misrepresentation. Use extra sheet if u need

That confuses me, the city of the oath and test or the city I live in?

Thank you..I think so now too. I was avoiding a long explanation but it is better to over explain than misrepresentation..Thank you again

Inlaw's app received Dec 6. Still no AOR yet its Feb 15 today. Dont you think the process is slower for those who claim half-day credits as visitor prior to PR? Thanks

I don't think so, we claimed those days and got aor anyways.
Unfortunately I think it's just luck, how fast is the officer that gets your application..

I think it would be returned already. mine was returned, I was October applicant keeping an eye on the October thread and I've noticed that all of the returned applications came back just before others started to get AORs.
