What feels like an eternity has come to and end! As we all know, with the outbreak of the pandemic, things were put on-hold. At last my wife had her video oath recently . To all whom are still in this process, hang-in there. I wish all luck and happy ending to this journey. Take care.

Hello Guys,

I have another question, I misplaced my CORP so I was told to apply for VOS document. I was filling the form and had some confusion hope you guys can help me here.
In the form IMM 5009 Part B - Document request, I am confused between question 2 & 3.
Q 2) Immigration document issue date -
In guide the it says the following to answer:
If you entered Canada for the first time as a permanent resident (landed immigrant) indicate the date of issue in the following format: YYYY-MM-DD (Year-Month-Day).

If you entered Canada for the first time as a temporary resident (worker, visitor, or student) or refugee claimant, indicate the date of issue on your immigration document in the following format: YYYY-MM-DD (Year-Month-Day).

-- > I entered as student on Sep 2012 so I will mention that date.

But now in Q3) Canadian port of entry - Place of issue
In guide the it says the following to answer:
Indicate the name of the Canadian port of entry or the place of issue. If are a permanent resident, enter the location at which your status was granted.

Note: A port of entry is an airport, land border, or sea border, where you entered through a customs and immigration checkpoint prior to entering the country.

I entered as student at Toronto airport but I became PR at the Niagara border. Should I mentioned Toronto airport or Niagara border because here it says if you are PR than enter the PR location.

Any help will be appreciated.

Thank you
