DECEMBER 2014 FSW APPLICATION SUBMISSION

Sydney, NS, Canada 12/24/2014 12:14 P.M. The receiver has requested that we hold this package for a future delivery date / Delivery will be rescheduled.

Mine states the same thing, I called UPS and the agent who I spoke to said its possible that they were already closed for the day when UPS got there. I am suspecting it will be delivered on the 29th. Best of luck!

I have just submitted my permanent residency application today (Dec 24th, 2014) and it is supposed to reach CIO by Dec 30th.
I am applying under the PhD stream.
Do you think my CAP is safe? Do you think I will make it?

I have also received the same status. But one forumite got his package delivered earlier that day. What worries me is that whether it was really an off or deliberate refusal from CIO. Now my whole weekend is ruined because of this suspense.

CIC WILL ACCEPT THE PACKAGE ONCE THEY ARE BACK ON 27TH OR LATER BUT WELL BEFORE THE DEAD LINE

I have submitted my application on 23rd Dec. Delivery at booking with DHL was confirmed for 30th, but now showing 31st? I hope it reaches 0n 31st. CIC site does not say that FSW 2014 is closing on 31st Dec. I hope I make it in time

Dear All,

I have a little problem i sent my documents from fed-ex on 23rd December and now they are showing estimated time of delivery as of 12/31/2014 by 5:00pm. I see that the office closes at 4:00pm. So will my application be accepted in FSWP or it would be a rejection.

Let me know if someone has knowledge over it as i heard that 1st January is also off.

I read somewhere about mentioning Visa Office. I have gone through copies of my application, but could not find where this was supposed to be mentioned. Can someone who has used the latest forms help!

Thanks dr. Rohit. I am just wondering whether there is a delay in checking submitted applications. The website says regarding the PhD cap " Applications received toward the overall cap: 227 of 500 (as of November 19, 2014)". I don't really know if those applications are only received and counted or received and checked for completion then counted towards the cap. A friend of mine mentioned that there is 3 month delay and this 227 is not a realistic number. Do you have any idea? Thanks

Cic has removed the visa office section from the latest forms. So nothing to worry if you sent the November updated generic form.
