Finally got 'Request for payment of RPRF' :) (applied on Dec 20,2012 - AOR on Feb 6, 2013).

I thought for Biodata they will send a form/word doc/pdf. It was an embedded table in the e-mail.. Shall I just copy that table and fill in a word document ?

Compare the biodata form you received to the one I posted on my webiste:

There's a fillable pdf link, fill it, save it and email back to CIC.

Hope that helps.

Thanks iam_toby

Sure thing. Just make sure it's the same form and CIC has not changed it. If it's the
same, feel free to use it.

Maybe also let me know if there have been changes, so I can edit my form accordingly for other users.

Hello,

Please update my status, identified by the name tracyliu. I am applying CEC under the code of 4012.

I have received the medical examination request on Nov. 13 2013. Besides, On Nov. 14, 2013, I have also received an official letter that requests a no criminal record certificate in Hong Kong (since I have been living in Hong Kong for more than 6 months.)

In regard to the delivery of this No Criminal Record Certificate, the letter clearly says that CIC needs to receive the Certificate by Dec. 14, 2013, which is within one month (from Nov. 14, 2013 to Dec. 14, 2013). However, I asked the Hong Kong Police Office who is in charge of issuing the certificate and they said that the normal processing time is one month. Plusing the time I need to send documents to Hong Kong and them sending back to CIC, the time period will definitely be longer than one month.

I have no idea what will happen and what to do by now, except sending these documents to Hong Kong Police as soon as I can. Anybody who has experience on this, or related matters, please kindly share your ideas with me. I really appreciate your help.

Sincerely yours,
tracyliu

Respond to ottpilot immediately and request additional time. Clearly quote the processing time for hong log pcc in the email.

You should be fine.

Hi,

I have shared by biodata and RPRF receipt as I paid the fees when I applied for the file. How can I confirm if CIC has received it or not?

Just complete medicals and wait for passport request :)

Try doctors in Toronto - you might be able to get an appointment earlier, within this weekend.

Hi guys,

I am sorry to let you know that I received a refusal email yesterday. The officer's reasons were as follow:

Your Bachelor of Business Administration degree was issued by XXX on April 30, 2012 and your application was received on December 24, 2012. The maximum number of available months during which you could acquire Canadian work experience is less than eight, not twelve as required by the regulations. I was unable to assess your application based on your Business Administration Diploma. You did not complete a full time study program of at least two years duration to obtain this diploma, as required by the regulations. I am unable to consider the semester during which you took ESL courses, as the regulations exclude any period when the study of French or English as a second language amounted to most of the full time study.

In other words, they only considered my work experience after my degree was issued, which is a little less than 8 months, not since my work permit was issued in March 2011. I will be sending a new application in the next few days.

I guess I will have to share my info with the November 2013 folks now.

Good luck to everyone!
