Hi,

I'm not sure if anyone has been in the similar situation.

I'm going to apply as a graduate in December,2012
(NOC: 7315 (Aircraft maintenance engineer, Skill level B))

I've been working as a full time employee (40hrs per week) since December 14, 2011 and I'm going to apply in December 2012 right after one year has passed.

I do have a T4 and a Notice of Assessment for 2011 but those only cover two weeks of my employment. I don't want to wait until I get both documents for 2012 because I may have to wait two more months.

Here's my question;
Is it possible to submit the application with 2011 T4, Notice of Assessment, and all the pay stubs for a year?
or,
Should I wait until I get 2012 T4 and Notice of Assessment?

Please share your knowledge and experience.

You should wait my friend. Then you will have more proof to support your app.
but I am certain you are burning to apply as soon as you can but trust me If you spend some time to review all this forum, you will see that most rejected files were because of not enough proofs.

The required documents include "the most recent" T4 and NOA, so if you submit the documents from 2011, you have met the requirement.

It would be wise to include a photocopy of your most recent or end-of-year paystub - assuming it shows cumulative information - YTD - for the year, there is no need to include all paystubs for 2012. You could include a cover letter that you will supply the 2012 T4 and NOA as soon as they are avaiable.
And of course, there are several other key documents, including the letter of reference from your employer.

No doubt you will be asked to supply the 2012 T4 and NOA, so file your income tax return as early as possible.

Just to add, make sure you begin counting your skilled work experience after your graduation date.

Thank you all for replies. I'm going to send a cover letter with my application

I had a one hour session with one of the best immigration lawyers in Toronto few months ago. What I got out of that session was basically this:

Explain as much as you can when you think a clarification or explanation is required. Add a page to end of whatever form you are submitting ( Read the guideline since it explains how the header of the page should be , and also how to reference the part of the form you are providing more info for) and explain it very clearly.

in Your case, as it has already been mentioned, you don't have to wait since you already meet the requirements on the day you are sending your application.

Thanks Kamaleddin. I'm going to try the method you explained. I'm sure it would accelerate the process very much.
