Hi all, I tried to contact my MP today finally after 2 weeks of trying to dial someone answered. It was one of the officers working in the office of my MP. I explained the situation of my applicant. He told me to fill out a form called "Constituent Consent Form" and I was to fax or email it in to the office provided the info. Did anyone else have to fill this form out?

I know this topic has been discussed to death but would you recommend people redo their medical even before the VO requests or asks for it to be done? My lawyer insists that we do not send in anything when the VO has not asked for it because according to him the VO can and has processed applications where the medical docs expired but nonetheless still issued their PPRs.

Yes, I had to.

It's either a law or an immigration regulation. Yes, people may have been issued PPRs with an expired medical, but being let into Canada is another story. Definitely redo the medical if it's close to the time of expiry, as it could set you back a minimum of three weeks, otherwise.

OMG..........

Sohrab jan, I am really happy for you. I can't believe it. Great news.

It is all done for you. Best of luck for you and yours. ;)

yeah my MP told me i shouldnt have done it, he said IT CAN CAUSE PROBLEMS lol , the BEST thing is to redo it AS SOON AS ITS EXPIRED! i redid it, emailed the green sheet and here i am, instead of waiting for them to ask i did and saved atleast 4 weeks

me too! i cant believe it! merc azizam, thank you i appreciate it

i thank all of you from the bottom of my heart, thanks for being there for me when i needed it, thanks for putting up with me and dealing with my emotional outbursts :D, if i made you mad/angry i apologize, i wish the best for every one you guys....... you were my family for the past 14 months.... i wont forget you... you have my WORD that ill be here just like before , as if i didnt get ppr, any questions i can answer ill be more than happy to do, whatever i am capable of i promise ill do to make this exhausting process a bit easier......

one advice i can give..... the advice i lived by for 14 months, dont believe rumors, dont believe bad news, dont worry your self over stupid things....... when my mp told me yesterday that my file is in queue for a visa officer to process and i shouldn't expect any news until june , i laughed.. and see i was right....... no one knows whats going on in the embassy, no MP , no lawyer, no one! as long as you have all the right documents/valid medical you are bound to get that beautiful PASSPORT REQUEST EMAIL.......

once again the best of luck to you all my dear friends

i cant wait for vivi/arezou 's reactions :D ;D ;D ;D
