I know this topic has been discussed to death but would you recommend people redo their medical even before the VO requests or asks for it to be done? My lawyer insists that we do not send in anything when the VO has not asked for it because according to him the VO can and has processed applications where the medical docs expired but nonetheless still issued their PPRs.sohrab919 said:yeah it says in process, it also says we started processing your file on april 28, so it took 4 days for a visa !!
Yes, I had to.Canada-Girl2012 said:Hi all, I tried to contact my MP today finally after 2 weeks of trying to dial someone answered. It was one of the officers working in the office of my MP. I explained the situation of my applicant. He told me to fill out a form called "Constituent Consent Form" and I was to fax or email it in to the office provided the info. Did anyone else have to fill this form out?
It's either a law or an immigration regulation. Yes, people may have been issued PPRs with an expired medical, but being let into Canada is another story. Definitely redo the medical if it's close to the time of expiry, as it could set you back a minimum of three weeks, otherwise.rowshan said:I know this topic has been discussed to death but would you recommend people redo their medical even before the VO requests or asks for it to be done? yeah my MP told me i shouldnt have done it, he said IT CAN CAUSE PROBLEMS lol , the BEST thing is to redo it AS SOON AS ITS EXPIRED! i redid it, emailed the green sheet and here i am, instead of waiting for them to ask i did and saved atleast 4 weeksrowshan said:I know this topic has been discussed to death but would you recommend people redo their medical even before the VO requests or asks for it to be done?
