no they didnt say that, i mean even if they did they wont tell you exactly, all they say is when it was received, i guess the only you can find out when they started is if they ask you for some documents, even then you have to guess when they OFFICIALLY started reviewing your file

I work at a bank and today they informed us that any transactions made in syria with a debit card or credit card will be refused by bank institutions in canada as requested by the United States.... it`s ridiculous

hey mickey, i didn't receive any RQ neither, and i'm almost on 8th month of waiting : maybe they don't send it anymore i don't know...they didn't even ask for additional docs, I'm guessing they have what they need..

nath is the RQ the spouse questionaire? my husband got that along with few other documents that they requested from him. they requested additional documents after exactly 5months of the file being in syria. we had 2 months to get everything back to them in damascus. if thats what u are talking about it, it is the most useless page of info. i dont know why they ask for it!

hay all, I just received my PR Card in mail today, so happy, I hope everyone hears good news soon, I still check here, since I have some family and friends who have taken them over 13 month to get their PPR, still no sign but I hope everyone gets it soon

yup thats the one, the 9 question piece of paper that basically means nothing, almost everyone here that got the RQ got it when they asked for additional documents, i think everyone's case was like that, but then again if you arent missing anything i guess they wait and ask for it as a last step thing since a few people filled it and a few weeks later they got PPR, who knows how they do it really, it changes almost all the time

hello to all:
I hope by September we have more PR issued.
I checked the CIC website and it is saying the following:


13 MONTHS WITH COMPLETE PACKAGE
WHAT ABOUT IF WE HAVE BEEN IN PROCESS MORE THAN THAT

All I know is that keeping families apart is not in the best interest of the family and why does it take so long to make a decision
the file should be studied along with the assessment of the sponsor in Missisauga and when the applicantion reaches Damascus the applicant should be contacted shortly if there is any missing info
we have submitted many info before and the medical has expired already and my lawyer is inssisting not to redo before they request one. does that mean another year from now to make a decision
this process is very hard and it affects our life

I wish for all of us to be reunited soon and good luck for everyone here
