I have a bad news us evacuating their embassy from Syria god helps us i think every embassy will get out of syria

Yes Saman that is bad news. I called the Canadian office in Damascus today to see if they were planning to close any time soon.I was kept on hold for a long time so I just gave up.
I truly hope they don't close the office.Since we don't really have any idea what will happen to all our cases if they do.
I'm hoping for the best.

Canada shuts embassy in Libya; diplomatic staff evacuated:

the continued unrest in the North African nation led to Canada suspending its diplomatic relations with Libya Saturday and evacuating its entire diplomatic staff from the capital, Tripoli.

OTTAWA — The federal government wouldn't say Sunday whether it has an evacuation plan ready for Canadians in Syria, instead urging those in the country to get out while airports and border crossings remained open.

Should the situation in Syria become a crisis that requires evacuation, the government will help Canadians in the country get the nearest safe haven, said spokeswoman Claude Rochon.

“The government of Canada may assist Canadians in leaving a country as a last resort, when all means of commercial or personal transportation have been exhausted,” Rochon said.

“At this time, means of commercial or personal transportation have not been exhausted in Syria. In fact, airports and other transportation systems in Syria are working normally.”

Syria Crisis


The US has warned its citizens to leave Syria, after days of unrest in which troops fired on anti-government protesters in a number of cities leaving hundreds dead.

The State Department also said some non-essential embassy staff and all embassy dependants would be leaving.

Earlier, the US said it was considering targeted sanctions against Syria.
