ali jaan you are right in a way but think about it, which graduate stays here when they have a degree and they get a better job somewhere else... so technically they are losing allot of students as well, its true you have to support your wife/husband for 3 years and they are not allowed to receive social assistance(welfare) but with a PR you can work so they will be working paying taxes like everyone else..... my wife is going to continue her education here so she has to pay tuition and its not like she is going to leave after she graduates so she is a benefit for them..... this is why spouse sponsorship is high priority..... but at the end who knows what the government thinks and how they judge who is a benefit and what is costly for them....AliAria said:Dear friends,
I firstly want to appreciate your reply to my comments/questions and educating me towards the matters.
Sohrab is right, Sohrab jaan thanks for your positivity by the way. It is best to be patient, that is what I have personally learned and experienced in life. Most likely I am also going to go back to Iran to be with my wife for at least a couple of months. The opportunity cost would be definitely expensive thou. Even impossible for some people, I wish you all the best, and being far from my wife has definitely thought me something, to appreciate life and my relationship better.
It is unfortunate that Canada takes so long to process spousal visas. From my understanding the wife or husband who gets here will share your wealth, income tax, and will be an extra expense, maybe a longterm investment for Canada. Of course Canada gives student Visas in 47 days, they pay 3 times of tuition fees, will spend for their medical expenses and will be all profit for the government and the schools.
I pray for all of you guys to have a strong bond with your spouses even in the most difficult times and when you are far, and believe me, we will be paid for our patience.
really? i guess thats luck, honestly i never had an issue with mailing things to iran... since i always express it and stuff i never had a bad experince, but well, when the time comes and your wife has to send her passport to syria for them to issue the visa, she has to do it through courier which is the fastest and safest way, and they are very reliable, DHL has a few offices in tehran so she can just use that, if in case they ask her for some other documents she can do that same method or regular mail but obviously regular mail in the middle east when you are dealing with documents and embassies isnt such a good idea,AliAria said:You are very right to a sense Sohrab. It all depends on different situations as well.
A question just came up in my mind, how is the post service between Syria and Iran, I have sent two things to my wife and they have got missing on the Iran side, would that be a problem?
Thanks,
I hope they could do the same from the Syria end. And I hope for much more....sohrab919 said:T.N.T is also another good one

Hey buddy
you MUST be calm and polite ! I don't think you are allowed to speak like that with official agents of government of Canada.
If you think you don't like the way or our laws, then you can withdraw your application.
P.S: It is not a bad idea to search for differences between PERMANENT RESIDENTs and A VISITOR VISAs.
you can always try maybe it will speed up your process. the fact that you have a child and she is away from you along with your wife?alialialrikabi said:dear friends i have question (will be helpfull if i contact my locall m.p ? my little daughter she get her canadian citizen 2 months ago is it good point for me sponsership to process it faster?) appreciat it
