COPR and coronavirus

Me 2! Almost 40 days raised form, no mail and no job. Everyday wake up to check the account and get dejected. Almost on depression right now, all my canada saving fund is getting utilized sitting here onlyReally...whats the use of this webform drama...ppl not wanting to go getting the mail...we raised thrice no mail
I think, Air Canada is best option if there is not much price difference between Air Canada and Air India
quarantine in Saskatchewan is good as you can get cheaper accommodation compared to Toronto.

I received about response from local Visa office while asking status of my application.
Expert Please help me to interpret Highlighted sentence " If IRCC already approved your permanent resident application," what is the meaning of this one.
whether it means we received COPR and PPR before or after March 18 or
it means our application approved and still, we not received COPR and PPR still application consider as an approved one.

I heard a case where someone received their COPR after March 18th but since the application was approved before March 18th, he was exempted from travel restrictions. You can give IRCC a call and get the clarification
It does not matter. Propose for getting a connecting flight from your port of entry to your final destination and not leaving the airport after doing landing formalities. Please avoid over thinking. My CoPR was expired in first week of May and I received the 4th pointer email recently without even sending ready to travel webform. They might be sending the emails in batches. Stay positive!
Same here, raised twice but no mail. but the good news is that many here seem to be gettign the mail so hopefully soon. I did not get the 4 pointer email but I went ahead and pro-actively raised a webform informing my willingness to travel with a flight ticket(booked in January but in credit shell with Etihad for now) and a quarantine plan along with my bank docs. Got a reply as follows:

Furthermore, we verified the information you provided and can confirm that the application is still in process.

What do they mean my application is in process? My file was approved in December and My COPR expired on July 15th.
Any guesses anyone?

This one is a generic response and You just need to wait now. I am in the same boat. My File approved in December and my COPR expired on july 28th.
It’s a generic mail. I think it’s the updated one for the recent “ready to travel” web forms. Sigh!
Thats the new generic response from them with the statements about Covid-19 impacting processing times. I believe the wordings were different from IRCC in their earlier responses.
I think the 'in process' here refers to the ETA application and not your PR application itself so I would not particularly worry about it. It did freak me out as well when I saw it worded that way initially. Considering your application was approved in December(meaning you are exempt from the restrictions), you probably will get the 4 pointer email or maybe even the ETA itself earlier than some of us here so just wait patiently.
