I haven't received any 4 pointer email. Are they sending out randomly regardless of RTT webform sent or not?

Has anyone got the 4 pointer mail today?

i have sent 3 webforms so far since August but no reply n no 4 pointer mail yet! But i see that a lot of ppl r getting it and processing times for the ETA letter too seems to be really long.
has anyone who replied to the 4 pointer mail gotten a travel ETA letter?? how long did it take from replying to the mail to receiving the ETA letter?

Yes you are right .Initially some ppl have got ETA in 11 to 12 days after responding to the mail.1 case we saw in this grp was from India who got in around 12 days .But now I think they will take more time as a lot of ppl in the queue

It is so annoying to be frank. On the face of it, sending this authorization letter should just be quick and instantaneous considering the people involved are COPR holders so all their existing documentation has already been verified. I just don't get what kind of extra verification they are trying to do here with already approved applicants but maybe they are just dragging their feet because they have been asked to go slow.

That's what I'm wondering and would like to know other's opinion.
@manutd2018
I think we can just let them know that we’re ready to book ( both airbnb and ticket ) as soon as we have the ETA.

You'd have to book your airbnb according to your flight dates. No point booking randomly and wasting money.

Maybe we just say that we’re ready to come settle and give them the tentative plan and the latest bank statement. ?

PS: what are your( everyone here from India who plan on leaving in the next 60 days) thoughts on forming a group and going together and helping each other out with the pre and post landing ?

Some ppl are luckier to land sooner than us ..what else can be said...ppl with older copr expiry are suffering more in terms of financial loss and mental trauma but they dont seem to bother about these factors.

Hi guys. Would anyone have any idea about online grocers in Canada accepting international credit cards? My wife and I plan to land in 2 weeks and we’ve tried several Ecommerce sites without much success. We will need to include this in our quarantine plan!

Do they have VISA or MASTERCARD logo and do you need to notify your card provider about international spend in advance to avoid being blocked ?

Yep, I’ve tried with both MasterCard and Visa. The Canadian Ecomm websites I tried with just don’t seem to accept them unfortunately. I’ve not had to notify my bank in the past when using the card outside my current country of residence.

I was wondering if anyone landed recently and used to their international credit cards for ordering grocery, food etc.

Hello from Vancouver!!!

I successfully completed my landing yesterday!!! It has been a long 3 year marathon with many obstacles and I'm glad I finally made it over the line :)
Cool. Did they question you about the "non discretionary, essential" purpose of your travel? that is employment plans, home leases, anything? I'm planning on landing on Vancouver from outside the US, PR was approved on February. I have no family in Canada nor job offer, I will just book an airbnb for a month and then go on job hunting. I really need/want to start my life over there as soon as possible. If you could share your experience at the airport, would be much appreciated
