There is lockdown in Ontario till end of April due to third wave of CoVID. It's too early to predict anything like that. The borders might remain closed but they could (Federal govt and not IRCC) ease out the restrictions a bit in near future.

Your extension will count from the date you did your remeds. CoPR extension should be given for one year on passing the remeds.

I directly received CoPR on GCkey and AL over the email after 2 weeks on my remeds. I did not receive any meds update on GCkey. If you have received the meds update then you should probably wait for 1 week before shooting a followup email and webform to IRCC.

Yes people do fail in medicals and its because they have some underlying medical condition which prevents them to enter in Canada as per conditions set by IRCC. You know about your health and if you are fit then you should not worry about getting failed in meds.

Thanks for replying. My friend is coming with family and will be landing in the early morning. So this 3 pm check in rule might be an issue. Anyways they have booked the hotel with flexible check in time.
