Scheduled for oath on the 6th of march, but let them know that I will be traveling and returning on the 20th. They rescheduled me to 26th march. Didn't expect that they will reschedule it so fast.

I think so. My file was updated after test on 19th Dec and just yesterday got the oath invite.

My timeline is very short. Since passport canada is closed on weekends, I need to apply on a Monday and get it on Tuesday morning. Seems unlikely

Just got the email for Oath. It is in-person on the 6th of March. It is mentioned in the email that I can only apply for canadian passport 2 days after oath. Which will be 8th and that is a Saturday. Passport canada is closed on Saturday. How do you think I can make this work? Thank you.

I am fine with rescheduling (even if its 6 months) as long as they do not ask me to start all over again. I am traveling to Europe for couple of weeks and have booked everything. Flights, hotels, planned vacation in office (me and wife both). It would be impossible to move this trip without...

I understand what you are saying, but it would be very stressful. I guess it doesn't really affect me to wait another 6 months for a new oath ceremony.

7 months for the rescheduled oath ceremony? This is nuts.

I mean how is that even possible? 6th is ceremony date, 8th & 9th are the weekend. I just have 10th and my flight is on the evening of 11th. I would like to try, but losing the trip is not an option for me actually.

Actually my flight is on the evening of 11th. It would be extremely tight and i do not wish to take that chance. I think rescheduling would be a better option.

Just realized, I have travel plans from the 12th of March. I think they will ask us to cut the PR Card. Is there a way to request to postpone the oath ceremony?

Can someone confirm if Schengen Visa application for France need to submitted in person at one of their facilities at Montreal, Toronto, Ottawa or Vancouver? I stay in Calgary. Should I be going to one of these places just to submit my application? Is there any other way?

Do we need to book for citizenship exam or just click on the link and take the exam whenever we feel we are ready? I see that there is a link in the email that they sent which says just click on the link when you are ready to take a test. Does that mean there is no booking of a slot for the exam?
