Even I got the same reply after 10 days of raising the web form.Got a reply after 3 days after raising the last webform
Great news! were you asked about the purpose of your visit (which I'm assuming is permanent settlement)? what was your answer?Hello, just to provide a bit of relief and hope to everyone. We received (family of 7) our CoPR in early March so we were exempted for travel restrictions. However, our visa expired in July during lockdown in our country. In August, borders were partially reopened with flights resuming progressively and I requested and extension to our expired visas. I received the generic reply with 10 days to send the ready to travel required documents which I provided on 25 Aug. On the 27, we got our travel authorizations valid for 60 days, and extension of our visas until Jan 2021. We had booked one way ticket with SN Brussels for Oct 02 flying via Brussels, and Air Canada from Brussels to Ottawa (with a lay over at Montreal). We did our landing formalities in Montreal which went very smoothly with a welcoming officer. The layover was only two hours and I was afraid we might missed our correspondance to Ottawa, but luckily our luggages were registered to Ottawa and we did not need to collect them back and went straight after Customs to the security and boarding gate. At Ottawa airport, we just collected our luggages with no further check and headed to our quarantine address.

my journey so far:
landed in Toronto on 31 August.. did quarantine for 14 days.. next day wend to Niagara falls (lol its mandatory for first timers) first working day went to get SIN and got my SIN within 30 mins.
after a week to open premium bank account to deposit few bucks in there. exactly on the day of my exit from Canada i.e. 20th September i got my PR card as well and peacefully left Canada after soft landing and complying with all instructions.
feel free to ask anything i you guys wanna know. and good luck to all
luckily they dint asked much buy i was prepared specially questions related quarantine...that pretty girl asked why i came here, i replied. and then she asked me for my COPR n passport. n for PR card she said it will take 6 months though i received it in 20 days lol yeah last question she asked about my marital status hahahThank you for sharing your experience. Seems like it was a very uneventful and smooth process. Could you share your experience when you landed in Toronto? The questions they asked, they documented they might have asked for, etc? Also where were you flying in from?
