I have my interview next week and have gathered and organized all my documents, more than they need!! I plan on putting a show for them and explain that handling citizenship applications shouldn't be rocket science. Also I'll ask some hard hitting questions on how they actually are working and what's the processing standards (if any).
They will probably refuse to answer everything but it won't stop me from trying in the interest of fellow applicants.
Worst, they will push my file behind someone's desk and I won't take oath for a few years but I could care less. I look at this interview as a perfect opportunity to vent my frustrations with CIC. Not one person ever listened from the govt office so this will be my time. Screw these people. Lol

They will surely make covid 19 as an excuse for the delay. Best way to piss them off is tell them how US immigration is processing in xx days and conducting 4500 citizenship ceremonies eventhough they had more covid cases than Canada. Do you people consider us as humans ? Unfortunately my interview was done last year i have no chance to put on a show. I would even raise question of racism/discrimination such as delaying the processing if u belong to a certain religion. Also ask them if paper file is taking time should we reapply online so it can be quicker .

Part of me is like "Yeah take one for the team" and another part is like "This could turn ugly for him"...

He can record the interview and give it to cbc if it turns ugly.
I am definitely gonna record and if they don't let me do so, I would ask for a release under ATIP. We'll see what happens.
I bet the privacy offices know me very well by now, I have submitted too many requests about my case, procedure manuals, intra-organization communications and what not. Lol.

I got really nothing to lose, I have concluded that they cannot retaliate. And in fact, the more attention they give me, the faster my file will move as they would just wanna be done with it.
Having said that, it could go south too if the case officer is a resentful hard ass pos. Lol

If you have your own business or you are an IT person better use your talent in the south than rotting in this black hole. From Black hole i remember can you ask them if their Black hole has a reverse gear ?

Lol. Believe it or not, I have plans to give them a glimpse of our frustration and helplessness by sharing certain threads in this forum. It all depends if they shut me down or actually listen tho. We'll see.

Good luck my friend. We all applicants stand in your support. When is your interview ?

Americans are absolutely right that Canadians live in Igloos meaning they are referring to IRCC . Even US is doing in person ceremonies.

Naturalization Oath Ceremonies
USCIS field offices will send notices to applicants and petitioners to reschedule postponed naturalization ceremonies. The ceremonies may be shorter to limit exposure to those in attendance. USCIS will not play videos during naturalization ceremonies, but will give attendees a flyer with information and links directing them to the videos on the USCIS website. Under the shortened format, all legally required portions of the ceremony will take place. Attendance is limited to the candidates who are scheduled to be naturalized, a parent or trusted adult if the candidate is a minor and individuals providing disability assistance to a candidate.

As USCIS safely resumes in-person services, some naturalization ceremonies may be conducted differently than in the past. You may receive supplemental information from USCIS that provides detailed instructions for your ceremony. Please pay close attention to this information to ensure a safe and enjoyable ceremony experience.

Try and ask nicely! The officer would likely be more open to it than if you come off too strong. The last thing you want is for them to give you an RQ just because :(
