Hi - If i am correct, we get an email invite to take citizenship test (particular dates, then click on the link using our info, take a ID photo, our own photo and then start the test, submit it within 30 mins).

1. Are there any specific province related questions, that i need to prepare based on my local office(residence address), some sites, have practice tests based on provinces?
2. It is not possible to remember all the names and dates(will these be a show stopper, if i don't remember all names and years, will i fail), will the test questions be hard or is it logical, if you read the discover canada book, you can manage?
3. Do i need to know the names of current province members (like who is the premier, head of the state, page number 34 and 35 of discover canada) for the test ?
4. If anyone taken the tests, pls. share it, on what pattern of questions, one expects.

Thanks.

1. I don't recall seeing any province related questions in my test. But, if you do the practice tests, you might encounter such questions and it isn't bad to practice a couple of those tests at least just in case you get those types of questions.

2. No. Nobody can remember every name and date on the book unless they have photographic memory. Discover Canada is the main resource. Read the entire book at least once. In addition to that, prepare using the following: Notes from Discover Canada and Sample tests.

3. Again, I never saw these questions in my test and I don't recall seeing reports of anyone being asked these type of questions.

4. We aren't allowed to record test questions or share them. But I can tell you that the questions, difficulty level and the pattern of questions (Fill in the blanks, True/False, Multiple Choice etc) vary greatly. For instance, I had at least 5 True/False questions and at least 2 fill in the blanks questions. It varies from applicant to applicant. So, just concentrate on the resources provided in the response to Q2 above and you should be good.

Thanks a lot Raj, those are really helpful, thanks again for compiling that notes. I never thought, one would get fill in the blanks in the question, i always assumed it is multi-choice.

There is no fill in the blanks question without any choices. Just the question is with a blank but you do have to choose it from the choices. So there is no fill in the blanks question without any choices.
