AOA everyone! Please i need an accurate answer, if my husband comes to canada on visit visa for the delivery of our baby in june, will he have to go back once his PR is approved? he had his remedical+pacc+forms done in aug 2013, and latest update from MP says background checks are not finished yet. Im delivering in june so i want him to be with me, he has multiple entry visa. But we dont want he comes and has to go back again once isb asks his Passport for PR. We have contacted many ppl, some say yes he can get his COPR in canada and some say no he will need to go back to have PR visa stamped. Please help me find real answer to this questions. Would be really appreciated.

It changed to "in progess" and it says we started processing your application 14 march,2014. but we havent received any Passport request

The stamping of passport is done in home country and COPR will be mailed there too. Someone has to carry his PP back to home country and bring it back here, then he can flagpole ( goa via US order )

Did this for my folks - took passports to India and then went again to pick it up

CIC won't do it for u, CBSA won't help you - but whoever brings passport back to Canada, needs a notarized letter from your husband ( this is what CBSA confirmed with me )

Still waiting for PPR :-[. No news from Islamabad/London. Not sure what is going on at both places.

Anyone wants to share any latest update from Islamabad. :'(

I have doubts about London as if London will do any part in issuance of Visa.
If application was being processed for last two years at Islamabad then what is the
use of transferring to London at time of completion.

Either Islamabad is telling lie or London has not planned anything for this massive application transfer.

No one has received any thing from London for last 46 days. Any one other than auto email('BS').

If someone have contacted to Islamabad and they told him we have transferred
your application to London? Please write how did you contacted them
and what was their reply.......................................please.

I am waiting application status update reply from Islamabad for last two months
and no reply yet.

well its useless to email islamabad lazy embassy. i directly emailed london and enquired abt my file if they had it or not. islamabad will reply you after a year. n relax plz. atleast u hv rcvd a remedical so hopefuly inshaAllah u will rcv ppr soon.

i know one should relex but look at the time i have waited for 26 months since file transferd and 28 months since filed my application

this insanity is not a good any more
atleasr PPR should be granted as they have concluded reletionship is genuin

N im waiting for a remedical from last 24 months. I get frsutrate every other day bt there is nothing i can do abt it. Just try to enjoy ur time in pak. Phr kbi aise aana ho na ho.

Emailed chc-london on monday, to confirm file transfer. Got a reply in 48 hrs, and says file is in Chc-london.

Feb 2012-Oct 2012= file sat in Ottawa
Oct 2012-Aug 2013= file sat in Islamabad
Aug 2013 = remed + repcc + add forms
Oct 2013 = Asked repcc for another city
Oct 2013-Feb 2014= At decision making officer for ppr.
Feb 2014- present = LONDON. Totally out of control God help us all.

Thing is LONDON ain't that fast. Its been 60 days since file transfer. All that is left to do is give ppr. Beleive it or not islamabad had done all final checks for me. That means LONDON, is not willing to give ppr to applicants whose cases have been completed just yet.

ALL MEMBERS FILES HAVE BEEN TRANSFERED. There is no family class applications left.

I'm also waiting for remedical request since june 2013.may 30th 2014 its been 2 year when my husband did his 1st medical on may 30th 2012.
