I think people dont understand the reason behind this workload distribution .. Its to LOWER the timeline .. I know there are some 2011 cases and some early 2012 cases .. But the the thing is if the files were still in islamabad they would have taken their sweet 32 months .. So be happy and grateful that the government of canada took a step to lower the timeline ... Keep your hopes high and positive and keep on praying..

I have come to know a very bad thing, please someone confirm it. That Canadian government has decided to issue 3 year visit visas instead of immigration to spouses. and this would be applicable to all the application in process. I mean instead of giving immigration, spouse would be given 3 years visa and after cmpletion of 3 years., he/she would be give PR status . >:( :( :( :( :( :( :(

Can you identify or share the source of this information?

Salam all, I have been a member on this forum since 2010. I have done my best to try to help others when I could In Sha Allah. But I have seen where I, myself have asked a question and members like yourself just wrote below with not a thought about what I asked for.

This reminds me of careless people thinking of yourselves. I think its sad and really unfair what some of you have been doing. Like a member asks a basic question and not even care to try to help is beyond my thinking.

I have not written here in a very long time. Its 43 month and counting. Do I have hope? Oh yes and no Canadian Government of Canada can make us fail.

A petition is good if you think so but no government ever was swayed one way or the other.

Look at your notes it gives a clear picture to what is happening in a case. If you want answers let your sponsors put the fear of Allah in the mouths of MP's especially the Conservatives. Say this you may have got my vote last time but this time I will not vote. This hurts them more than you know.

My husband and I are so sorry we ever applied for immigration in Canada. If it was this time 43 months ago knowing what we know now. We never would have applied.

Another thing for the ones who are having families wait until your settled as it must be so hard but harder alone.

May Allah help us all In Sha Allah

Rofl.. I think somebody twisted the conditional visa theory .. It applies to people who applied after oct 24 or 25 2012..

That's probably it, 2 years of conditional visa granted to all spouses after October 2012.

Do not trust everything .. I once heard in 2012 that its taking 6 months to get the spousal visa when the timeline was abt 20+ months lol

I just got a reply from the London office and they have confirmed that our file has been transferred to the London office.

I visited back home to see my wife earlier this year and I am thinking about sending the proof of my visit to CIC. According to CIC my application is in queue for review after sending the forms and re-medical done in November 2013. No PPR yet. My wife also got pregnant.

Do you think it's a good time to send the additional proof and more importantly is it a good idea to mention that my wife is pregnant?

No its a bad idea.. If ur checks are assigned to an officer already there is no point sending more stuff.. If you were a late 2013 applicant then i would say yes but since you already got ur remed then there is no point ..

Makes no difference about ur job once they have approved u as the sponsor (Step 1).... During my application I changed jobs like 3 times after I received AOR but didn't update them about my job....u might need to let them know about the change of residential address as they will send any correspondence by mail to the address they have on record.

Well you would definitely want them to have your latest address/contact info.
It won't do any harm to update them.

Files transfer was started for london in november 2013 (new cases especially). According to that, its been 5 months, they are half way through. (Depends on if you believe that pakistani will fall into london time).
