Dear all

I am (based in Pakistan) gathering my documents for spouse visa application and would be really grateful if anyone can post a list of all the forms I need to fill and attached with the applicatoin as I am little confused ...

[IMM 0008DEP], [IMM 5669], IMM 5406], [IMM 5490] & [IMM 5476]

I have had my medical done and got all the documents/evidence/pics ready to include with the application pack.

My wife is canadian and is expecting ! I am aware that I won't be able to join her for the birth of our first child in June this year Sad - the application processing time as per the website is 32 months !!! I am thinking about including the evidence that my wife is pregnant, please advise on that too if this would be a good idea ?

Thank you

Sunny

Asslamualikum Sunny,

This was a very old post from a forum member when Ottawa office "was helping the backlog" for Islamabad. We all had positive vibes from Ottawa. Now New-Delhi and London are "helping to clear the backlog" for Islamabad. Im very anxious to see if Pakistani spousal cases will be approved within 10-14 months or not. But older members can agree Ottawa screwed us and didn't help clear any backlog.
If New Delhi and London fails, then don't be surprised if Singapore and Paris "help with the backlog" next year....

so relaxxxxx, wait and see your PPR coming veryyyyyyy sooooooooon inshaAllah

Asslamualikum hubby chubby,

Jazak Allah for making my day this has brought down my stress levels. My husband and 16 month old daughter are dreading the day we have to return to canada without my hubby. In Sha Allah he will come with us but we have yet to recevie a re med request it's been 17 months

Hello,

So I will be ordering my notes.

Does my information go on the left column? and my spouse information on the right? is my spouse the designated individual? It asks for designated individual's mailing address. He lives in Kabul. Are they going to send that to him? or is this simply a consent form.
Help with filling out this form please.

I wanted to share my recent experience writing to CHC Islamabad.

Back in January (when I was visiting my wife), we sent an email to CIC saying that I am returning on 7th of January to Canada and it would be great that if my wife can go with me. It was a little too hopeful email I admit. However, I got auto response saying that you may expect reply after 15 days or something. So after 15 days, I didn't get any response but I got back few pictures from Honeymoon saying that they have been uploaded to the system.

Now, in mid of Jan, my wife re-sent an email to the CIC inquiring about status of application. Again, no response, and again they sent me back few more pictures from rukhsati and wedding card today (exactly 15 days later). I dont know if these have been coincidences or what. But whats bothering me is that they are sending me back just pictures and not the original documents which i sent like certificates etc.

Has this happened with anyone else?

My timeline:

Application filed: 15 March 2012
Applicaiton transfered: 15 June 2012
Additional Documentation requested and sent: April 2013
Forms + Rukhsati proof requested and sent October 2013
Remed requested and done: 10th dec and 12th dec

Thanks

we share the same timeline, and we also emailed CIC ISB when I went to visit letting them know i will be leaving on this date and it would be so kind of them to issue the visa so she can come back with me. they sent us back the PCC a few days later that we did in June.

i requested notes again on jan 22. lets see what happens.

Did you order notes after you got remed? If so, what did it say?

Salam. Are you ordering them online? (they're much easier to be done online)
If yes, you have to order them on behalf of your husband.

https://atip-aiprp.apps.gc.ca/atip/

So first form "REQUESTER INFORMATION" is all YOUR (sponsor) info.
*Are you requesting information on your own behalf? Pick NO and choose the E-mail option as opposed to CD

2nd form: "ACT AND RECORD SELECTION"
This is all your husband's info (Principal applicant)

Last form: "ATTACH DOCUMENTS"
This is where you attached the signed consent form found here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/atip/form-imm5744.asp
To fill this:

1) Your full name: This is your husband/principal applicant's info
2) Spouse info: This is your/sponsor's info
3) Designated individual: This is your/sponsor's info
4) Declaration Check both YES boxes
5) First box is your husband's signature
Second box is your signature
Date

Hope this helps
