If I am not mistaken, you're the one who messed up something after the PPR right? It usually doesn't take this long after PPR otherwise, though with CIC everything could fall under 'otherwise'. Fingers crossed.

This time it is taking them long for wutever reason.... I'm in the same boat.... pp has been submitted since late Nov 2013

My husband got an appointment for re-med for 6th February. Do I need to mail the receipt to Islamabad with my additional forms and Re-PCC? He'll be getting his Re-PCC on Wednesday iA.

U don't need to mail CHC-ISB anything related to the re-med.... its all done by IOM electronically

RPRF= Right of Permanent Residence Fee.. in simple words its a landing fee !

If you have a lot of possesions in pakistan it might be worthwhile to look into shipping it over ocean freight. You may be suprised at how cheap it actually is to ship things. Ocean freight is calculated by the cubic meter, not by weight like airlines. Unlike the airlines you are looking at 20 - 40 days for your shipmant to arrive, so a little planning may be required to get your posessions from the port to your final destination. If you have over $10,000 worth of items it may be worthwhile.

Thanku soo much for ur reply i have arnd 100 to 120 kg extra laggage..so you are suggesting me tolook for shipping through ocean freight would be better rather then taking stuff with me and paying 11000 per pcs....

I am (based in Pakistan) gathering my documents for spouse visa application and would be really grateful if anyone can post a list of all the forms I need to fill and attached with the applicatoin as I am little confused ...

[IMM 0008DEP], [IMM 5669], IMM 5406], [IMM 5490] & [IMM 5476]

I have had my medical done and got all the documents/evidence/pics ready to include with the application pack.

My wife is canadian and is expecting ! I am aware that I won't be able to join her for the birth of our first child in June this year Sad - the application processing time as per the website is 32 months !!! I am thinking about including the evidence that my wife is pregnant, please advise on that too if this would be a good idea ?

Nope, I didn't pay my husband's RPRF yet I still got a re-med request Alhamdulillah.

Thanks Jerry. Also, it says on my notes application ready for sel review and further processing of application recommended. Anyone knows what this means and if it's good or bad? It also says no apparent concerns, which is obviously a good thing.
