Could somebody help me, please?

i have a little concern,
mines is a nikah only case,
would a rukhsati make a difference to our case?
Better to go for rukhsati and send them proof like wedding card, hall receipt, ruksati and post ruksati picx
It will make a difference for sure

Asslamualikum rana_Quebec,

Yes this is normal. I applied Sept 27 2012 and I have the same application received in ecas till now. I have past the 1 year mark so I just recently ordered notes to see where my husbands application stands.

My advice to you is wait until next month and than order notes.

ASyed :)

Walaikum salam

thanks fo your reply and your advice currently i am on visit of Pakistan (my family) and till the end of this month i will back then i will apply for notes.
have you ever apply for notes before?

To be honest really, it doesn't matter really if it nikkah case or rukhsati. As you can see on the forum many nikkah cases are approved and have received visa before rukhsati. It really comes down to your visa officer. If you can afford, to go back and do full rukhsati then do so. However, don't break your head on it. 2 of my friends did only nikkah cases provided decent proof and had their wives in canada by the 20th month mark (2011 cases). There was this myth in the forum that nikkah cases put you through interview or are longer, I haven't seen such things.

Asa;
I will suggest please do your self a favor and get the Rukhsati done asap otherwise it is gonna be painful long process. If you ask any immigration lawyer or consultant in canada they will tell you right away do a complete marriage. Follow the 2011-2012 forum and you will see ,many people were put in interview queue for not having Rukhsati and Valima. Some people may get away with Nikkah only case because they did not mention in the application. But if you are honest person and rightfully told CHC that it was Nikkah Only then you MUST MUST MUST get the Rukhsati and Valima done asap.

They also asked question in AOR and in 2011 thread they are asking people now when will be the Rukhsati happen.Every application is different but if many cases in which people honestly wrote Nikkah were put in Interview Queue.

1)Get the Rukhsati and Valima Done.
2) inform CHC if in AOR you wrote that it will be done upon arrival of Visa. get the rukhsati done and send proof asap
3) But if you have not receive AOR then you can wait for AOR and tell them the tentative date of Rukhsati and send proof afterwards but it is better get the Rukhsati done and send proofs rather then wait for AOR but it is your choice if you want to wait for AOR.
4) Go for Honeymoon, better if you go outside of Pakistan even for few days.

I hope i answer you question. May Allah help you and all of us. Ameen

I second that. The following is from CIC:

Were you sponsored to come to Canada as a spouse or partner on or after October 25, 2012? If so, you must now live with your sponsor in a genuine relationship for two years from the day you get permanent residence status in Canada. This is a new rule.

As a spouse or partner being sponsored, this applies to you if:

• you have been in a relationship with your sponsor for two years or less,
• you have no children in common and
• Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) got your application on or after October 25, 2012.

Well my case was in interview queue before ruksati
after knowing that i went for ruksati and didn't wait for CHC-I to inform me the interview date n time
becoz i read on CHC-I website that it takes a year or more for them to tell us the interview schedule
so after 1 month of sending them the ruksati stuff i got remedical request...
you should go for ruksati and send them proof before they object or put your case in long queue

baqi hubby chubby is not wrong too
if you provide a lot of contact/communication proof (b/w u n ur spouse) to CHC-I then it can work as well
