My wife received email from CHC-Islamabad, requesting to pay RPRF and my job letter after re-medical request received on Nov 14.

are u the applicant or ur wife ?
and what does your ecas status say plz tell me as i applied on 29-2-12 and my file transfered on 14th of june 2012
my husband is sponsoring me and why they need job letter ?

Why are they asking for your job offer letter? Are you currently employed in Canada?

Hey Naqibee, I applied in May 12' but have the same transfer date as yours. Still haven't heard anything. I am guessing and hoping they start processing our files once they have issued visas to the current batch. Rest, God knows better .

51 dispatched today... and mostly for Karachi..... Its mean they are working very fast.. and Inshallah at the end of 2013 mostly peoples will get their visa...

Does anyone know when the police certificate expires? My spouse lives in Karachi. I thought it was 6 months but someone is telling me it is 3 months. My wife got hers in in September.

i am pretty sure its valid for 6 months it came down from 12 months to 6 months

I am sponsoring my wife and my wife ecas shows still application received, and job letter may be they need to verify that I am back in Canada as I was on parental leave with my wife and baby and I did informed them.

yes I am may be because I was on parental leave.

Why are they asking for your job offer letter? Are you currently employed in Canada?

ECAS does not get updated till the last stage of issuing visa. In my opinion, you should not monitor this until you haven't received PPR. You should be waiting for your re-med/ppc/ppr now which might be via e-mail or post.

I need a suggestion! Thinking of applying visit visa for my wife in Lahore. Plz take a look at my timeline and suggest.I talked to a few consultants in Pakistan over the phone n they had mixed responses. Some r like u r about to recieve remed request so no need and since u just met Ur wife last month Ur visit visa will b rejected anyway. And that Islamabad works faster in yearend because they hv to reach their minimum quota of completed cases..any suggestionss?
