Hello people,

Does anyone know when the police certificate expires? My spouse lives in Karachi. I thought it was 6 months but someone is telling me it is 3 months. My wife got hers in in September.

guys i am confused after reading timeline of some members what confuses me that why some people who applied after others are getting request of re-med or docs or passport etc like i applied on 28 feb 2012 and i see people for example from sep 2012 are getting request of remed etc
can anyone here explain me why this is happening and

also untill when after visa u have to land in canada? is there any time limit ??

That is a million dollar question.

Unfortunately, CHC is probably the only unique government institution, that doesn't follow the "first come first serve" protocol. It is held at random and it is processed at random (the files). That doesn't mean that the person who got his/her file processed before you has a better file or yours is complicated or bad. It's just that he/she was somewhat luckier than you were. Yes, their are cases that are causes for delay but not in majority of the cases. So don't worry, nothing wrong with your file, but everything is wrong with the institution.

I believe when you receive your visa to travel to Canada. You should travel before your medical expires....
