Assalam Folks,

Alhamdulilah! Alhamdulilah!
Finally some great news today after such a long n agonizing wait!
My wife received a request for remedical today (~ 5 pm PST) by email.

My timeline is as follows:

Married in Islamabad: January 2012
Application submitted: March 2012
Application transferred: June 2012
Received back Original documents: July 2013
Remedical Request: November 2013
Police Certificate Request: Forthcoming
PPR: Forthcoming, inshallah!
Visa Issued: Forthcoming, inshallah!!
Landed: Forthcoming (That will be the best day of my life!), Inshallah!!!

This news has honestly lifted a humongous weight off my shoulders. Although I realize its not completely over yet n there is still some time left until we get the PPR.

I would like to encourage all my fellow 2012-ers to continue to remain strong and don't lose hope. Inshallah we will all be together with our wives/husbands soon. My fellow 2011-ers all my sympathies and best wishes for a speedy completion to all your cases, inshallah! My heart goes out to all the remaining 2011-ers out there that are still waiting for responses. Please continue to remain strong and I hope all 2011-ers get their PPR's by the end of this year, Inshallah!

What's really not fair is that our next door neighbors from New Delhi only have to wait for 11 months on average while we in Islamabad have to wait for 32 months.

Its unfortunate how much difference it makes in your everyday lives depending on which side of a fence you (or even your parents) were born.

Many congrats to you bro. I never realized you had already got the PPR. Can you please share the date of PPR. That's a big relief, that means return of PCC before the PPR is a normal thing. I got my PCC returned on 15th Nov and re-medical was done last week Aug 2013.

CHC-ISB sent back my RePCC after PPR... I got PPR on 4 Nov, and RePCC received back on 8 Nov. But they did not send my all other original documents.

Hi guys,

I got a email from Islamabad requesting me to fill in additional forms as well as a re police certificate request. I want to know do I have to wait for them to mail me these forms and then fill those out by hand or should I fill out these and print them. Also there has been no mention of remedical...that will come later then? Further they have asked for my CSQ so do I send my original one or a copy of it. It does not say whether they want original CSQ or not. Please reply asap.

The forms are on CIC website.. Fill the forms they have asked for and print them and sent them within specified time. Wait for remedical mail or tcs.
