My sister applied for her husband in march 2012 and he got his visa in September 2013.

Background/security checks are done after remed. Hence, the reason they ask for re-pcc after/with remed. Prior to remed its collecting dust and mice droppings

I dont think so, they asked for my 2nd police certificate first then they asked for remedical.

Year 2012 cases fellows, I been thorough the same as your are (I suggest you apply for GCMS notes) if you are waiting for remedical for longer than usual. They request for remedical once they are satisfied with the case(most of the cases). I mean you have paid all the fees, all the documents and proof are complete.

Once they process remedical then they start background check.

I am noticing few people are sharing TCS tracking number. I assume those includes TRV, Parents and Spouse cases. I haven't seen many PPR after the strike has finished.

Yeah I remember you mentioning about it. A couple of other feb/march applicants received additional docs request too in May/June. I think people get some sort of correspondence when they start working on their files.... either add docs or remeds... most probably my file and others who've crossed 18-19 months are just sitting in a back log pile waiting to be opened.

Dear Friends

I am new to the forum and want to have your valuable advice for my real concern.

I have landed Calgary in last week of June 2013 and returned back to my home country within 35 days without receiving PR card. I have received my SIN and health card on same Calgary mail box (relative address) whereas PR card still awaited. Its almost four months passed...
By exploring cic website, following options are available:

If you live inside Canada and if it has been longer than the time shown above since you applied, please contact the Call Centre. (1-888-242 2100)

Or

mail/fax pdf document (IMM 5451) SOLEMN DECLARATION CONCERNING A PERMANENT RESIDENT CARD THAT WAS LOST, STOLEN, DESTROYED OR NEVER RECEIVED

Your guidance is requested in order to take what further actions required or still have to wait silently.

Anxiously waiting for your response and thanking you in advance.

Regards

Husband is PR and applied outland to sponsor his wife. Case is approved and sent to their country VO.

thank u ... another questn do we hv to submit 2 photos online at the time of submittng application?

Just received my notes. They're kinda difficult to understand. All due dates have passed. Criminality, background etc haven't started as yet. Seems like it somewhere to be picked up by a VO.

Guess there is nothing that can be done but waiting with patience. May Allah SWT make it easy for me and every one else.

Anything specific I should check in the notes that will help me understand them better?

My notes say 'medical in progress' what does it mean?

Hi ch.immigration - agree with the first answer but disagree with the second. If applicant is unsure of his UCI, he can leave it blank.

But the UCI (unique client ID) belongs to the person, not the application. So whether a person is applying for PR or TRV or anything it'll remain the same. It's kinda like SIN except for CIC

:)

medical expired today
