I sent all the additional proofs by TCS to Islamabad
I sent all Original Copies.

Some people told me to email it to Ottawa, but on AOR letter it stated that I should send any additional proofs to Islamabad. Thats what I did.

Hi, I am just wondering if you sent some cover letter or something to convince them? And what else should I send them. Please guide

I received my gcms notes back today...nothing really started.

I sent some additional proofs to ottawa back in June 2013..it has been updated on to the file.

ASSESSMENTS

Eligibility: Not started
Security: Not started
HIRV:
Criminality: Not started
Org Crime:
Medical: Passed - Expired

Eligibility has a due date of 09/26/2013.... Security & criminality has a due date of 10/20/2012 ? ( I dont know why)..Does it mean its already done?

Primary office: Islamabad
Secondary office: Ottawa
File transfered to islamabad April 2013.

Kindly guide me do I have to fill the Pakistan National forums in Appendix A like Residency Questionnaire and etc.

Also can some senior members guide me how to fill the sponsor evaluation 5481 forum.

I have 2 kids and wife so in 5.A) Current Undertaking will be 3 or 1?
and Question No 7. Total Number of persons in 4,5 and 6 above would be 4 include me.
I never sponsored someone before and never married, first marriage and first sponsorship.

Do i have to mention them in the back as well of this forum?

my husband finally received the letter saying that my file hasbeen sent to islamabad for further processing. we got this after 5 months of applying bcoz we always missed sth and they wld keep sending the file back.. wt will happen next?
shld i wait for the full year or shld i wait till my medical expires which is 24th april?

ONE MORE THING THAT INFRONT OF SECURITY IT WONT SAY ANYTHING. USUALLY IT SAYS NOT STARTED IF ITS NOT STARTED. THIS IS THE SECOND TIME THAT WE ARE FILING OUR CASE AGAIN.

Hello Everyone,

My wife is a Canadian citizen and we are going to apply for my spouse immigration, I am in Pakistan. The application will go to Islamabad.

I was wondering since it will take around 2-1/2 years/29 months for this process to complete, can I apply for Canada student visa M.Eng. I am working in an Engineering firm. I have 7-years working experience.

Please let me know if anyone has done this before and have been successful in it. From what I hear, the visit visa is usually denied by the embassy, what about a student visa application?

Under the Dual Intent clause of the Immigration and Refugee Act, you can apply for a visit visa (TRV) while your spousal sponsorship is in process. The TRV application should have no bearing on your spousal application; they are two entirely separate processes.
I submitted my wife’s spousal application in March of 2012, after the file was transferred to Islamabad in July; we applied for her multiple–entry TRV on the basis of Dual Intent. Bi-iznillah, she was granted a four-year multiple entry visit visa within less than a month. However, you should make the application in good faith and be prepared to abide by the stipulations of the visa.

I don’t know how successful you will be in your attempt for a student visa. I don’t know if the Dual Intent clause extends to that category, but do some research and then make an informed decision.

I have the same timeline applied in Nov 2011 file transferred in Jan 2012 but no response since then not even remed :/

one question that I am doubtful about is the medical .... The lady who was at the medical center asked me where my case was filed I told her Mississauga so on the medical paper she wrote the address of CHC-Mississauga ... Here on this forum I got to know that medical goes to New Dehli ... In my gcms notes dated 3rd june 2013 medical is in progress however, most of the members who ordered gcms notes r mentioning that their medical status shows completed-expired... what happened to my medical? Can someone solve my query?
