Thanks for the prompt reply mehr! .. We have a total of like 17 passports including mine and my parents! (Our is parents sponsorship case).. So i mean CHC Isb would get insane looking at the number of passports ! So i though it would be feasible to just sent the recent(valid one), since nothing is mentioned in passport request letter regarding it.. It just states that the passport should be valid for a time frame of an year and their should be enough pages so the immigrant visa can be inserted in it(In sha Allah)..

Yes you are doing the right thing just send the latest one..I was under the same category when I came here in Canada many years ago and I remember we submitted only the latest passports..

Visa office doesn't have a major impact, be it Ottawa or Islamabad. It is 29 months for pakistani's. Yes, if your lucky you can get visa earlier. Hence, it depends on your luck and destiny.

Spouse doesn't need to show work, for example in Quebec there is no need to show any money or tax to sponser a spouse. However, around canada is a bit different. You may need to show tax income. Doesn't mean that if she is not working, you cant come. Students apply for their spouses aswell and they get visa.

Education doesn't matter and it doesn't increase your chances at all. Spouses who have completed their Masters are waiting and spouses who decided to drop out of school during high school got visas. (Personally know the case). No, it wont affect your case, the education level.

I am also new here and June 2013 applicant. I yet to receive my AOR. I just want to know following things;
What is visa office, and how much it effects the case. I mean some here have their visa office ISB and some Ottawa. Which office has a low processig tome? And on what factors your case is moved to any particular visa office?
My wife is sponsoring me. She is not doing any job. In the form she mentioned that she is being financially sponsored by her family in the section where it was asked. Would this effect and how much?
I am working on a senior management job and I have very good qualification of doctorate level. Would this matter?

Its been a year since i hav applied .. didn hear any thing from CHC since than ? I have following querry , thanx in advance

1. should i send them additional documents? if yes, than what usually people send's in additional documents?
2. Email i d which i have mentioned in my application was my student email. n now as i have graduated it is going to close by university .. will changing my email address wil slow down my process?

regarding your additional documents, send any proof that has not been previously submitted, and also try to send email exchanges, skype pictures and chats and viber chat history, also pay attention that the purpose of additional document is to make the visa officer decide about your case without the personal interview so if you are able to convince the visa office through evidence that you and your wife are in contact after the marriage then there is no need for a personal interview and you will get re-medical request soon,

regarding email ID i don't think that will slow down the process of your case, remember EMAIL ID is essential and the best way of communication between you and high commission, hope that helps,

if you using IPHONE which in my case I am, then go to VIBER application then click MORE-->click SETTINGS-->and select EMAIL MESSAGE HISTORY, an excel or CVS file is extracted in your IPHONE email, just email that file to yourself and extract the file to your computer and open it in microsoft excel, you can send this file to them calling it VIBER CHAT HISTORY, it has date time and number of messages sent, pretty handy

congrats to those who have been issued VISA & the rest , Friends i am with you waiting

MY current observation for 2012 applicants, as their 1st medical expires,their process starts.They receive
re medical request within 10 to 15 days and after re-medical.PPR in 2 months.Some got PPR soon, in 15 days even.

So don't worry , be patience, we all will travel soon to Canada.

have busy schedule , don't check e-case & forum much or you will feel time is passing very slowly.

Its not that simple. But for starters applying fir trv now can be done online. Google it "trv for canadian immigration"
