Hello all.. Congrats to everyone who got visa and Best of luck to everyone waiting for the visa.. Though i am not from this category , but i have one question.. The one's who have sent passports and already got visa, Do we have to sent all previous passports to CHC Islamabad or just the recent one? Nothing is written on passport request letter regarding the expired passports.. I would appreciate prompt reply and if anyone could throw light on it from their experiences..

As far as I know you don't have to send your previous expired passports just send the latest one, the one you have mentionedin your application.. My wife had previous passports but we had send only the latest one and got visa ALHAMDULILLAH .

It' depends on your visa expiry date which is usually expires with your medical date. So if you get your visa today and your medical is getting expires in next year then your visa is valid till next year and you can come to Canada anytime before that expiry date

Thanks for the prompt reply mehr! .. We have a total of like 17 passports including mine and my parents! (Our is parents sponsorship case).. So i mean CHC Isb would get insane looking at the number of passports ! So i though it would be feasible to just sent the recent(valid one), since nothing is mentioned in passport request letter regarding it.. It just states that the passport should be valid for a time frame of an year and their should be enough pages so the immigrant visa can be inserted in it(In sha Allah)..

Quick question..what abt if the medical is expired n they issue visa phir? Cause i know a guy whom they didnt ask for another medical n he got his visa. 18 months total processing time n his meds had expired a year before

in few cases CIC is extending medicals,,,wht is visa expiration date on his passport

i pretty much feel the same. i come up everyday and see nothing. i m a 2013 aplicant and i know that i have a whole year ahead of me. but its so hard to wait here.. when u ppl keep posting its gives a lilltle relief.
anyway i feel that all 2012 applicants r getting remds and passport requestes so i m hoping i willbe going to canada next year inshALLAH. wt do u guys thing?
do u think they will process our cases by 2014 like they r completing 2012's applicants?

As MRS SAM correctly pointed out, there is nothing new for 2012 applicants, same as you we daily visit this forum and look for news from members whose cases are in CHC-I, I myself am a 2012 applicant and like some of our 2012 applicants got re-med few days back which we shared with everyone here but haven't got any PPR or RE-PCC as of date, I am sure members receiving any news from CHC-I are more then happy to come to this forum and share it with us, as I see we are all here to help each other and are like family, have faith in ALLAH and inshallah our cases will be processed sooner then ever, Just don't lose hope, ALLAH has always better plans for us which we don't realize, so stay happy hope for the best, may ALLAH bless us all, AAMEEN!

first of all my best wishes to you and all members that have got and are waiting for their visa from ( CHC - ISB ), I need some guides since you guys have more experience and have done this. please provide me with detailed info about ( TCS ) passport delivery in Pakistan, since my wife got the remed request on 17th june and we have done the med already it was accepted in ( New Delhi ) med processing center on 28th june, my wife in an Afghan national and hope we get the Passport request soon, she has to come to Pakistan to submit the Passport to ( CHC - ISB ) what is the best ( easy, secure and save ) option for her to this hassle free as possible, or any other suggestion that would be great, thanks and looking forward hearing from you guys, once again my best wishes in your upcoming live in Canada, if you guys need any info or help here in Canada, please dont hesitate to ask, I have been here for last 20 years, I will try to give you the best possible suggestion. thanks, some one suggested the TCS service I just need some more info about them, Web link, phone, address, how much they charge for their return service ( pick and drop ) that would be great help, thanks once again.

I am also new here and June 2013 applicant. I yet to receive my AOR. I just want to know following things;
What is visa office, and how much it effects the case. I mean some here have their visa office ISB and some Ottawa. Which office has a low processig tome? And on what factors your case is moved to any particular visa office?
My wife is sponsoring me. She is not doing any job. In the form she mentioned that she is being financially sponsored by her family in the section where it was asked. Would this effect and how much?
I am working on a senior management job and I have very good qualification of doctorate level. Would this matter?

I guess what she meant was the expiry date on visa , not your passport expiry date.. So whatever expiry date will be on visa would be your date that you can travel within ...
