Ok Guys and Gals I am in trouble, My application is ready to be posted but here I am stucked, I left the payment of fees for the end so I say now all is ready lets pay the fees. 1) Get someone you barely know to let u pay with their credit card (everybody has at least one) and pay them cash. They would love that since they will be getting cash off credit w/o any extra fees.

2) Get a prepaid Visa card from your bank with the amount. But be sure to call CIC first and ask them if they accept prepaid visa cards.

Hi All

I am not new to the forum as I have been reading it on almost daily basis to increase my knowledge area and update myself about new rules and regulations and off course the real time scenario that people are facing in all this process.

I have few questions that I need to the point and authenticated answers, not on someone's personal judgment; hope you guys understand my intention. my concerns are as following by 2 means:

1. what if a wife expects a baby in few months and they file their case for sponsorship now, husband will be sponsoring the case before delivery of the baby. Will it add time/delay in processing of Visa if they get their baby delivered and then file their case during the ongoing process of wife case?

2. What if they do not apply their case now and wait for the baby delivery and then case the file of wife and dependent in the same file?

what will be the timeline difference between both of the cases? which will take more processing time ?
Dear Roambee;
In simple words CIC doesn't care about if the wife is expected or not.I submitted my file in April,2012 and my wife delivered the baby in September,2012.I attached all medical reports from Canadian hospital and also send them covering letter in which I requested CIC that my case should be processed fast but they don't care.I will advise you that it will be better if you submitt the case as earlier as possible so your timeline starts.Secondly if husband is canadian citizen then child will be no problem and you can update these information to CIC at any stage of your case, so don't wait.....

Proud Achievement for Pakistan and specialy for Karachi:

$45 billion development projects, Malik Riaz signs contract with Abu Dhabi Group

ABU DHABI: Former chairman and present consultant of Bahria Town, Malik Riaz Hussain has signed an agreement with His Highness Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan; Chairman Abu-Dhabi group, Union National Bank & United Bank Limited.

Under the agreement 45 billion dollars will be invested in Pakistan for various construction projects, which is the biggest and historical investment in Pakistan. Abu-Dhabi group has previously made huge and successful investments in Pakistan by the establishment of Bank Alfalah, Warid Telecom and Wateen Telecom.

Out of the total investment value 10 billion dollars will be invested in Federal Capital- Islamabad and Lahore (Punjab) whereas 35 Billion dollars will be invested in Sindh. These projects also include the construction of tallest building of the world (taller than Burj Khalifa, Dubai) in Karachi. Moreover, the project encompasses Sports city, Educational & Medical city, International city & Media city. The project also includes the construction of miniatures of Seven Wonders of the World.

These projects will employee more than 2.5 million people and will boost more than 55 industries like cement, bricks, iron, steel and glass. Moreover these projects are expected to represent all the social classes of the society and middle-class and lower-middle class will have equal representation.

The agreement will have a revolutionary impact on not only Pakistan's economy but also tourism of the country and will be a milestone in reviving the lights of Karachi.

Speaking on the occasion, His Highness Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan expressed that Bahria Town not only represents modern Pakistan but is also a credible, respected and authentic name in the real estate sector world-over. “I am genuinely happy that in this historic project of Pakistan we are working with the visionary Malik Riaz Hussain, this guarantees that not only the project will be delivered beyond our expectations but also before time. We will Inshallah be welcoming first residents in next 3-4 years.”

Malik Riaz Hussain, former chairman and existing consultant Bahria Town, expressed his pleasure and said that it is a matter of great pride for me that His Highness Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan has selected us for making the dream come true for a modern and developed nation with this historical project. This is also a proud moment for Pakistan as such a huge foreign investment has never been made before.

A distinguished feature of this project is the utilization of seawater to produce electricity. The projects will have their own grid station.

Moreover, a separate modern water treatment plant will be established to convert seawater into drinking water. These features make this a landmark project in Pakistan, which addressing the current water & electricity issues of the country. Works on this monumental project will soon be starting.

Wsalam.

Its good you got a quick response. Yes, you are approved as a sponser and stage 1 is complete.
AOR, usually it was ISB office who would give it, few months down the road. (They stopped that now)
Next, its the long waiting game. Many members wait for a year with no contact. (Allah knows better)
