well it's going to be exactly one year tomorrow when we sent in the application to Mississauga office.
nothing much has changed.. who knows where our file is.. Ottawa ya ISB.. I hope it's in ISB now.. :)

It takes about 2 years for this process. so one more year to go!!

Sorry to hear about your car crashes guys, be safe on the roads !!
So i called the call center today to try to get to the bottom of this CIC-Ottawa pilot project.
The call center clarified the following for me:

  • The files transferred to the CIC-O were the "straight forward" cases
  • The files will be assessed entirely in CIC-O (upto decision) and the final VISA issuance instructions will be given to CIC-Isb
  • Files which are later deemed to be non-straight forward will be transferred out to CIC-Isb for further processing
  • CIC-Isb Files transferred to CIC-O fall under the CIC-O 12-month timeline, measure the time from the transfer date. If after 12 months you do not hear anything, contact CIC-O directly

Hey, thanks for the information. That's useful. From ibi's earlier post, I feel that OTT is processing files in time, it's just ISB taking it's sweet time in issuing visa.

Users who have surpassed the 12-month timeline for OTT, they should try contacting CIC-O and see what type of response they get.

Speedy recovery for our fellow forum members who are going through physical hardship. InshAllah.

Guys/Gals I need urgent advise , I have a question regarding the Education documents of my wife (as all other documents are complete, dont want to waste time and money on unnecessary things)

I need to know about Education documents of my wife, on the check list they don't saw that it should be attested, should I join them original ? or it is important to get them attested ? because to attest them apparently you have to do first by HEC which is long and very costly and then you have to do it by foreign affair, Can anyone please confirm what to do ?

Thanks
