Hotshot did ur case go to islamabad or are u part of the ottawa pilot program?

Can you please tell me what is Ottawa pilot program ? is it different from the cases being dealt at ISLamabad? and how to know if my case to Ottawa pilot?

I would kindly disagree with the mp part. I contacted my mp in october 2011 and with his help i found out my file wasn't transfered. I would regularly call the call center and they would always tell me a different story about how they are working on my file. My mp told me file still in missisagua, then i made them manually transfer it with a note saying it was late. I think it depends on who is your mp.....

Hi i havent write anything before but reading it regularly since have applied for my Husband, i applied in Feb 2012 and i got AOR in July...since then waiting and waiting and waiting.....but happy to see every one helping out with their more/less information.
Just a seggestion to all you guys , that there is no point of going to MP or to any reference, they cant do any thing, even most of time the information that they provide you is not real, they have so much other stuff to do so they always take it for-granted, and please dont order your notes as well before your Re-Medical request coz before that they have no information.. well we are all in same situation , so Relax and Pray

Hubby chubby, in my opinion you have an mp and staff that actually does their job. Unfortunately I have to believe that most will initially get some sort of update for you, but from that point on they will just lie and pretend they are following up, while they are actually just referring to the initial info they received.

On a side note this whole ottawa pilot drama is getting to me. I haven't heard about even one case being processed yet.....

Next month will be a year since my file was sent to Mississauga, and I have heard nothing back from the Ottawa Pilot.. The only movement we have seen out of the Ottawa pilot for a Pakistani sponsorship file was for the applicant whose file was transferred to ISB. Has anyone, whose file is in Ottawa, had any progress ??

Yes my case was transferred to Islamabad in December. 2011 i think this ottawa pilot program didn't exist when i filed my app.

according to what i heard from those who's case went to Ottawa it's slower than ISB but i guess it depends. Maybe someone with more exprience can respond to ur question...and not all but most of 2012 applicants case were transferred to Ottawa. They said they are helping Islamabad.

Hello all again,
I am filing for my wife in Pakistan and we are stuck with this medical thing which needs to be done before submitting the application package. Been trying every day the contact phone numbers and emails but totally no response for the medical appointment. Just no idea what is going on? Has any one else lately have done medical or going for it soon, please let me know how do I get the appointment for medical? My wife has also visited the IOM, Karachi and the person there said we don't give appointment dates here in person so please phone or email...so frustrating already!

If any one else facing similar issue or know better way to get a hold of these responsible please share.

Yes defunkiie, I will agree. Maybe i was lucky enough to get a staff that actually did their job. Secondly, Ottawa is working. They working to resolve all the visa for every other country except pakistan. Just drop by the Ottawa forum and you will see all the people around our timeline have gotten visa and safely landed.

Same here ... my file reached Mississauga on Feb 14th 2012 and letter received stating in June that my file was transferred to ISB on 28th May 2012.

I don't even know if file is still OTTAWA or they sent it to ISB as mentioned in letter.

Should we all try to contact MPs or talk to ministry?

went to ISB embassy. spoke with visa officer. they're checking my wifes police certificate and school documents. no request for re-med yet (med expires end of January 2013). step 1 approval June 2012. transfered to ottawa end of June 2012. recieved letter in Dec from MP saying file now transfered to ISB. went to visit wife for a month and stopped by embassy. spoke with VO, gave him our info and file #s VO adivsed they're checking documents. they did not let my wife into embassy so she waited outside, only i went in. now we wait. will advise if i hear anything futher. thanks.

that is a good news for you ibi. i think inshallah she might get the papers soon.

since the immigration process is very lengthy. Is there a chance of getting a Visiting Visa? anyone had any luck with that?
