CHC, Islamabad Spouse Sponsorship Timeline 2012 -2013

"speeding up cases" in pakistani spousal sponsership doesn't occur. Visa approval will be given when & if Visa Officer thinks he/she is satisfied.

ur right it will not make any difference but my in laws are making this process really complicated they think if the file is really solid then they will speedup my case, they keep saying gaps in timeline will cause serious trouble..so I had to give them something.

I would seriously urge you not to falsify your employment history. You can say that you were job searching during that timeframe. If the CIC do find out then you are toast. Its not worth it.

I think it is really a very bad idea to Lie about it. If you have gap just put that you were searching a job etc. but don't lie because if they noticed it and have doubts they can refuse it for fake information. It is a shame because putting you fake job won't help for family class immigration so it is pointless to lie about it.

That is a lot of time wasted. You would have been stage 1 approved and 6 months into stage 2 had you applied in March 2012. Anyway better late than never.

my in laws are taking way too long to apply my immigration , they are still asking me useless things like get a receipt of the hotel where u stayed after marriage or confirm if they have ur entry etc etc seriously we are having our first baby inshallah who wants to see receipts now..they have wasted a lot of time in this and now holidays are coming I don't think so my immigration will be going in this year

Great anecdote. I guess the moral of the story is stay busy and dont deviate form your day to day activities.

I got a story for all the my fellow forum members. (True story)

There is a barber I know, came to canada in 1999. He was from a small village in Gujrat, Pakistan. When he arrived in Canada, he opened a barber shop to make enough money to support himself and family back home. In 2010 he returned to Pakistan to get married. Not being very educated or smart in operating machines such as computers, he decided to sponser his wife. Having difficulty filling out forms he asked many of his local friends for help.
On one snowy night in Montreal, he went to mail his sponser kit in the mail box. Unluckly, he slipped and fell in the slush. His kit became wet and dirty. Confused, he went to the post office and told them about his situation. The post officer told him to just sent it now. 14 months later, after hearing nothing from immigration canada or pakistan his wife got approval and visa. He never checked ecas. He never emailed anyone. He never called an MP. Just waited it out and she came after 14 months.

Moral of the story: It will come when it comes (visa that is...)

Ps. That doesn't mean stop emailing or calling MP's.
