As salaam o alaykum!! I have a question for my friends on this forum. If I decide to leave my job and move back to stay with my hubby in Pakistan, what impact do you think it will have on my sponsorship application. We have been married for 13 months now and I have been back to Pakistan twice already. I would rather stay with my husband and wait for the sponsorship to be completed. I pray for everyone that they are united with their respective spouses soon Insha'Allah and make this waiting period easy on us. Ameen!!

Walikum Salam,

If you, the person sponsoring the spouse, is a Permanent Resident then you cannot live in Pakistan while application is going on. However if you are citizen then you can but most people recommend not staying in Pakistan for longer than 3 months as it can raise an objection from CHC that you are not planning to re-settle back in Canada. And they may ask you to provide proof of intention to settle back in Canada which can be letters from family and friends and affidavits or lease of house rent or owning properties in Canada etc.

Assalaam o alaykum!!!

my case was more or less same like naqibee...i am PR card holder...n on dat basis my husbands case got rejected...cz i was in Pakistan with my husband :(((((((
so if u are (Naqibee) a PR card holder...u must must stay in Canada.

i have one question.... As my husbands case got rejected in July 2012...but hvnt got the original documents back...it includes our orignal marriage certificate, educational degrees, birth certificate...etc
How soon will i get the original documents of my husband back???? really worried for the documents...
some one told me that i may not be getting any documents back?? :O :(

someone knows about it? plz someone help me :(

As I have seen your timeline and it is indicated that you have been requested for additional documents. Can you plz tell me What kind of document did they ask from you and from which visa office you got this request and how did you get this request?

Thanks!

I think I didn't update it correctly, there was no request, that was just the original date of my husband's medical. My apologies for the confusion!

Thanks.

Hey guys.

It only says "Application received" not medical received under my husband's name, is that okay?

Thanks
