I m so happy today, thanks to Allah swta so much, my wife got her passport back with visa yesterday.

My time line

Application was filed on Jan 11, 2012
AOR and file transfer to Islamabad March 11, 2012
Additional document April 5, 2012
Due to medical expiring on DEC 02,2012
She Got call from Islamabad on Oct 8th asked if she can make it before Medical expires. We said yes

PPR on Email Oct 10, 2012
Passports send Oct 11, 2012

Passport back with visa Nov 01 2012

Total time 9 month and few days

Congratulations Safi! Quick question, you mentioned that you received the PPR via email. Does the sponsor also receive a copy of the email or is it just the principal applicant.

W Salam the email was send to my email address and to my lawyer email address, then I the lawyer filled up all the forms I emailed back to my wife she printed and sign them, we only had few weeks left in medical so Islamabad was smart and saved us some time

i think u should get a call when there are 2 months (approx) left to expire medical

Nope. Nothing since I got the approval letter from Ottawa. Ecase doesnt even show medicals recieived even though medicals were done in Nov 2011.

I know intazar is the most difficult thing in the world. But wo hay na k allah sabar kernay waloon k sath hay.
By the way what is your timeline. And from where did you get step 1 approval from Ottawa or Mississauga?

Same case wid me too...my med was done in nov 2011 as well..ecas shows only application recieved under permenant residence aap status...no meds recieved..no updates since sponsership approval letter from missisagua...

feel sorry for you, but i was talking about people who already got AOR+documents request from chc- isl... only they are getting call before their medical expires.. u can see cases like babbi, rkkhan and safi786..

but dont worry inshaAllah u'll receive remedical+ppr

Actually i received AOR + Doc's Request on 11-09-2012 from ISB and that time my medical was already expired bcoz medical is valid for just 6 months but last week my ecas updated 1 extra line in it saying medical have been received so i don't know they considered my medical or they will say me to do it again, yet i have no news...

Let me tell u one thing, every case is different from other and depends on agent handling ur file, cic-isb called safi786 its good for him its lucky case but its not the regular pattern how it works, we should not expect the same way but still hope for the best Allah is great....
