CHC, Islamabad Spouse Sponsorship Timeline 2012 -2013

Every one talking about TRV here. Can some one explain it a little? What if you get TRV? What is the fee of applying? It's processing time? Does it's document contain fresh medical and police certificate also, I am asking for the people who are waiting for their PRV. For how long, a TRV visa holder can stay. Can he study or work on it?

I submitted photocopy of medical slip and police certificate for trv... Which was done for PRV. Though my police certificate was expired at that time

I submitted both too
and they were expired too

No there must b some mistake. Once u validate it . It will show barcode. U should ask some one at ur place to help. I can't becoz i hav never encountered such problem

Now I ll go visa office in lahore on monday
they provide paid assisstance and online tracking of application
I hope its help me
as I submitted schedule 1 without barcode

Alhamdollilaah, i have reached my home. Immigration at Canada airport went smooth and luckily my luggage was first to come. i was out with 4 suitcases in total 30 mins


I had been waiitng for this day for so long to be at my place to be with my hubby but just when i landed i couldn't stop crying thinking how quickly the time came and how far i have come, it was a very weird feeling.


Anyways for all the newbies and oldies still waiting here's my timeline

I applied in Feb 2012

Approval of Sponsorship came in May 2012

File Transferred to Islamabad as per the email in May 2012

then after complete one year...

got E-Remed in May 2013 following week got Passport request through Tcs

Passport returned with Visa after 3 weeks in June 2013

Landed in Canada July 2013

Total time 17 months


Wait is long and very frustrating ... so just hang on to it cause we have no other way out.

Just a quick question..does that rule apply to u which stated that couples have to stay together for 2 years before they r granted proper permanent residence,unless the couple has a child..did u get a proper permanent visa or u'll have to wait for 2 years? N did they take ur interview at the airport?

Tht rule only applies to those who hav submited their application after 30 oct, 2012

I also got TRV in 35 days and i was sure that i must b rejected :/.. but surprisingly i got multiple entry TRV

I am happy that your ECASE is updated, same thing happened to my ECASE status yesterday that a line Medical results has been received is added there, but referring to your last post I haven't got any RE-PCC as your husband has, can you tell me if it were through regular mail or email? if through regular post how come your husband got it so late?

Just as an update, applied July 2012, received E-medical through email in June 2013 through email, and RE-PCC a few days later through mail. Did not receive any additional documents request. Insha'Allah we will all hear something soon.

We were not able to identify you using the information you provided.

I am waiting for my passport return with visa inshallah. Does this mean my case is finished or something else. Please if anyone can give me some info.

Hope all is well, Ramadan Mubarak, mine and yours remed request was in June,2013 and the remed is done and submitted on jun 28 to New Delhi Med processing center, since than have not heard anything from CHC-ISB, No Re PCC and No PPR, just a question mostly from what i have been reading in this form most of remed request are via email lately, how about Re PCC or PPR is that request comes through email as well or regular mail, as you know through regular mail some time can be delivery issue in Kabul, hope not but no idea, please keep me inform if you get any further request , I will keep you update if I hear anything, take care and keep in touch.
