Is it just me or only may transfers got ppr in may? Meaning did any june or july transfers get pprs?

Hope all is well, first of all why it took them so long, your application should be finalized by now, any way you might know the reason, based on your GCMS notes, they have not started the background check second part yet, the first screening process is done, you only get remed request when the first part is done so its a good start, right now they are running the full check which all depends on your husband travel history and job function, if he travels a lot and he is or was working on Govt jobs or Military then it will take time and most likely you will receive soon PCC and PPR and some forms to be updated since your processing time is quite long its 2 and change so be ready for it, the process has start it as we speak but how long depends on those factors if Yes than you are looking for another 6 Month at least may be more, if not it should be done quick couple of months done, my best wishes in this holly month for all members. take care, best of luck, update us if you hear anything, if you need help or advice please let me know.

thx for responding...yes by the grace of God all is well and hope that for you as well...yes GCMS notes indicate that a remedical was sent to my husband in march 2012, but apparently we never got it... somebody telephoned my husband in may 2012, and inquired abut remedical to which my husband responded that he didnt get any remedical request... the person then said that he will send him remedical again directlty instead of sending it to our lawyer in canada first, cuz that will delay the process, but we never got that remedical until after (after constant email inquiries to chc) 11 months, in april 2013. GCMS notes also indicate that they "could not locate the physical file" for God knows how long, which I guess could be another reason for the delay. As far as travel is concerned my husband did visit 5 countries, due to business. I jus hope and pray they verify everything fast cuz its been way too long.

I just hav one more quick question, i visited my husband last year and just got back in april, I am almost halfway through my pregnancy and I really want my husband to be here with me for our first child, so should I email chc islamabad with my OB letter attached or I should just not inform them? Do you think it will have any impact?

It shouldn't have taken this long to start a security check. You are 2 1/2 years into your applications. Its is truly unbelievable. I hope they do something quickly for you.

Yes and security is all blank in the GCMS notes. I hope too that they fast track it or something cuz its been way too long, 31 months since application filed and still waiting! keep me in prayers please

Salam and so is our case pending security check as well. Since they received his Medical at the end of January/13. We were told by the Visa Officer it could take from 6 to 9 months and we are in our we are in our 6 month. Hope this gives you an idea as for CAIPS Notes it takes 30 days anything over that you should contact them In Sha Allah... May Allah make it easy for us all In Sha Allah

Alhamdollilaah, i have reached my home. Immigration at Canada airport went smooth and luckily my luggage was first to come. i was out with 4 suitcases in total 30 mins


I had been waiitng for this day for so long to be at my place to be with my hubby but just when i landed i couldn't stop crying thinking how quickly the time came and how far i have come, it was a very weird feeling.


Anyways for all the newbies and oldies still waiting here's my timeline

I applied in Feb 2012

Approval of Sponsorship came in May 2012

File Transferred to Islamabad as per the email in May 2012

then after complete one year...

got E-Remed in May 2013 following week got Passport request through Tcs

Passport returned with Visa after 3 weeks in June 2013

Landed in Canada July 2013

Total time 17 months


Wait is long and very frustrating ... so just hang on to it cause we have no other way out.

Congratulations to you. Atleast someone is happy. My timeline is exactly as yours, but only Allah knows whats been happening to my file. I got an Additional Forms Request in May, but after that complete Silence.

By the way, is CiC sending Re-med request mostly through Online?

With grace of Allah in this holy month everything is fine, hope the same for you, family and love once, its sad to hear yet another victim of administration error that they made and caused your file to delayed, but I dont understand you have ( Lawyer or Consultant ) to look after these matters for you, that is why you pay them all these big box to look after your case but its hard to find good lawyers these days to look after they just grab your money and do nothing, it is not acceptable. any how my dear after all these month of waiting its great to you got your GCMS notes so you know where are you standing at this point of process, as per your husband trip based on your indication of visiting 5 country they will do the full check and it will take some time, but based on your circumstance even if you inform them it will not effect the processing of your case what so ever, but it will be a great ground to apply for multiple TRV visa for your husband in the mean time, since he got a established business and good travel history, it will cost you a bit money and some form to fill out along with some supporting document he might get a TRV visa, give it a shot I have seen both cases people got TRV and refused too, but you have to try it, your case first born kid its a strong ground for visitor visa specially if you can support your claim. my best wishes in this holy month for you, family, love once and all respected members of this forum to all pak and Afghan brothers and sisters that are waiting and suffering due to immigration issues. best wishes ans Ramadan Mubarak to all of you. They are just rumors ... i dont think it will delay ur PPR.. departments which looks after TRV and PRV are different ..

hey guys , just now i got a phone call from my husband telling me that he got a letter dated 20th june , in which it is statede that they require a police clearance certificate with in 45 das n we have jst 15 days remaining to do so.
when will i get ppr?

Waise, they don't need ur package but for safe side I would suggest make two piles with a cover page. 1. Package jo pehle diya tha us mein jo jo chizen thi us ki list cover page pe likh lo 2nd pile mein requested documents dal k us k cover page pe list bana lo k us pile mein kya kya hai..I don't think fees dubara deni hogi becoz once u will submit ur req documents wo process ko continue karenge jo already chal raha tha and aap ne us k lye already pay kar liya hai

No there must b some mistake. Once u validate it . It will show barcode. U should ask some one at ur place to help. I can't becoz i hav never encountered such problem
