My address never changed to Pakistan'saddress and people are saying their address are changed from Pakistan to a Canadian. Is that normal to have Canadian address and never changes to Pak! Any one knows??

i heard this too...addresses have been changing and r delaying the process..how is that normal?

I applied for my spouse visa back in May 2011.My online status is in in process on 7th march 2013. how much further time they will take to issue visa??

I hope your ppr letter onway & it will take about 3 to 4 months to process completely and issue visa. In Sha Allah

Ive recently joined this forum but i have been a silent observer for quite some time..
My application was received in april 2012 n it got transferred to islamabad in july.heard nothing from them ever since,even after getting my quebec selection in december.:n my husband is sponsoring me.
So he called the call centre n the guy told him that my file is in isl n it may transfer in june or july to ottawa.i told him that files r sent there for processing not if they r already in process..so do u guys think that its just sitting there since a year n it will start processing once it gets to ottawa in july?

Its a complicated issue this Ottawa/Islamabad scenario. No one really knows what will happen, however, it will become more clear when they start to process these cases. So far, no case gone to Ottawa after November 2011 has been processed....

Hi, I sponsored my spouse in early January 2012 and received approval letter in mid of February 2012. Last month i called cic and spoke to an agent he said my file was transferred to Ottawa in february even though the letter I received in mid february was from Mississauga saying file was approved and transferred to islamabad but next day I call to verify with another agent name Abdul Aziz I asked him about my file which was transferred to isb in feb 2012 but he said no my file was actually transferred to ottawa at the end of April 2012 and I should wait till the end of the april 2013 to hear something from ottawa. Is that normal ther are keeping files for couple of months even after approval of application and sending it to ottawa. Anyone knows???

well same thing happened with me, i filed in feb 2012 and received letter in may 2012 but after inquiring from my mp and from call centre agent i got to know that my file was transferred to ottawa in oct. and the reason they gave was that islamabad was full they couldnt accept more files so missisauga was holding the files and took time to transfer them to ottawa and counting of processing time starts when ottawa receives file

It is part of a work sharing arrangement Ottawa has with Islamabad, which is the reason why the agents at the call center saw Ottawa. But your file will be processed by an officer in Islamabad, according to the processing times of the Islamabad office. An agent from that office will contact you when more information is necessary.
