Yes you shud write the mailing address they hv specified at the end of request letter/email.

And at the corner of envelope write sender details like File num, uci num and dont forget to mention FC-Islamabad-Spousal Sponsorship.

These are the stats from Isl. London started working around Feb 2014 ..

but London is working on ISB files. will grind down to a halt when they hit majority of 2012 cases. if processing time could have been improved by moving to London why would do it after 7 years. when applied in Sep 2012 the hype then was CPP-Ottawa which from some posts is also being dumped on London. it did nothing to hold or the reverse the trend

if you compare at 2007 and 2013 for all CIC offices, for 80% of the offices the time increased. in 2007 only 5 offices have processing time more than 5 months, 2013 its 2018. State Sponsor of Spousal Suffering is a strategic policy decision. transfer to London was an operational work-load distribution which must align with policy

but ottawa never processed any cases while you can see London is working ..wait till next year and you will see the difference .. because not everybody who has applied for spousal sponsorship is here .. yet every week or so we hear people getting remedical, PPR on this forum. i wouldn't know why would they do it so late .. that has something to do with the politics. when chris alexander came down to Calgary he said he wants to bring down the timeline to max one year!

its the people who aren't getting any correspondence frustrated the most .. but we have to look at the brighter side!

"wait till next year" is what the MP told me. lolz then it would 32 months anyways for most people. I updated the original post above so re-read it to get an idea on the politics. Kenney was much better administrator than Alexander (who is critical of Pakistan) and even he couldn't bring it down. State Sponsor of Spousal Suffering is a strategic policy decision

anyways you continue to wait. your timeline is almost the same as mine. applied sep 2012, transferred to ISB in oct 2012

I challenge each and everyone of you who are waiting for your beloved to construct a single paragraph describing your anguish and frustration or whatever feeling you may have about the current processing times and post it here on this forum. Lets see how committed we are to make change. I will start us all off and for those who stand with me just post a reply with your paragraph. Let it be known that i did my part and now the question is, will you do yours?

"Hop into my shoes for a second, am I not human, do I not feel pain? I have been tormented for the last two years by this separation, missing my wife immensely and longing to be together with her once again, but I just can't see the end to this waiting game. Does the Conservative Government of Canada even care about its people anymore or are we all just a Social Insurance Number. I can't even begin to write my frustrations with these excruciatingly long waiting times. I patiently waited a whole year repeatedly checking my emails day in day out hoping and praying to get a single correspondence to no avail. When I knew things were not going anywhere, I applied for my wife's visit visa so we could be together but alas that too was rejected heartlessly. What is a person to do but to loath and despise the current Government that is keeping my love, my life, my soul mate away from me. If you cannot feel my pain then imagine this and this only, "Picture the most important person in your life and now imagine you are stuck in two different countries worlds apart for years, all while you are slowly dieing inside for want of a single caress from them". This is how I am feeling every single day and although I may be helpless to do anything about it I know that there are thousands like me out there and together we are unbreakable and we demand change.

how about doing this but get media coverage to end this State Sponsored Spousal Suffering. with TFW in the spotlight this is a good time

I hope and pray that LVO will process all transferred cases within 11 months or even earlier for 2011-2012 applicants. I am expecting that by August this year all of us should have atleast received remed request

who is MP

if you meant who is the MP for that specific area - its MP John Carmichael - Don Valley West inclusive of the reknown Thorncliffe Park area. I voted for him and he ended up winning on the slightest of margins. regretful mistake when givin that his Office is giving misleading information to me

yup hope is all we can do. but its unrealistic to expect miracles in 11 months given the trends

If you pass their interview.

They will take your passport right away and send it for visa.

Benefit of this is, you will skip all that time of getting email, tcs wait time and so forth.

Back in the days they would issue visa on the spot. Things changed.

So it means it is a good sign that they are asking to bring the passport at the interview.

May be there's a trend here for applicants whose files were transferred in mass batches on Feb 12 and Feb. 24 .. can all the members to whom this transfer applies share which date your file was transferred to London? Thanks.
