My wife is July 2011 Case at CHC-ISL. Remedical at Dec2012.

I was arranging additional proof for the last 2 days to send at CHC-ISL as per STUPID MP SUGGESTION. They are working on background check for the last 4 months. I guess they will drag my case for 31 month.

I don't see any better option than WAIT.

criminality "not started"
It is a husband case , file was transferred to CPP OTTAWA/islamabad on feb 2012 and since then hear NOTHING. is anyone else in this situation, is this normal, should I call/contact MP or islamabad?

CHC Islamabad was already working very slow, and now due to this strike, other than our local Pakistani staff there is NO Body; who can issue visas to our loved once in Pakistan.
Right now I have the feeling that No Body cares about this strike or anyone of us. Try to look around you that how many people in Canada around you knows about this strike or when was the last time when you heard any news about PAFSO strike on any news channel in Canada?
Going to MP is not gonna cost you anything but at least someone will know that you care for your husband.

I am December 2012 applicant. (Husband Case)
Submitted our spousal sponsorship file to CPC-M on November 20, 2012
Have my first medical done on July 2012 (very early)
Today on August 27, 2013 I received a Re-medical request by e-mail from CIC xxxx “@international.gc.ca.”

I haven't sent any additional proof of contact or whatsoever

Wondering what is next... !

Hello Everyone!

Its been a while i haven't been on this forum. I am not selfish but i just didn't want too.

Anyways as you all know my wife arrived in Canada safe and sound. Immigration officer did not ask her anything. She brought some gold too and was never asked anything about it. May be she was lucky.

The immigration officer did ask her my mobile number and that was pretty much it.

Her PR card was mailed and we received it about a month later after her arrival.

Life is in full "Chill Mode" as i get to eat home cooked food and someone is there to take care of me. The feeling is amazing and i really hope inshALLAH that everyone gets through this process quickly.

PS: Your expenses will hit the fan in the first month so make sure you have plenty of savings in your bank account. Moreover if you have sound job, then you don't need to worry about anything.

My family landed in Toronto on 19th July 2013 and it was quite smooth and guy at immigration counter said that they will process PR card but it is almost one month now and have not heard any thing from CIC.
My question is that how much time does it take to get PR card
any one who landed around 19th July has received PR Card ? pls share

Thanx for sharing this...big help . I would just like to give you some feedback though that in my opinion you don't need to send your mayun pics, or banquet hall receipts. The important things are the wedding,valima,post wedding photos clearly labeled at the back,your phone bills, chats, money slips. Its good you have a comprehensive package to send as proof but I think if you send the above mentioned things then that should suffice.

my wife's case was transferred to Islamabad embasssy in june 2012

since then no re medical or anything
i got a letter from ottawa processing centre few days ago , they sent my original Nikah Nama back
are they processing my case in Ottawa or in Pakistan, i sent them an email but no reply yet
i want to know for Remedical for my wife's , do they send a letter through mail or email ?? to my (spouse) or do they send it to my email adress aswell , can't trust mail in Pakistan...

so if some one has applied under this time frame please let me know if your case is approved or still pending thanks

Assalam O Alikum & Welcome to the Forum,

In my opinion you should wait for at least 30 days for the reply of email. And lets suppose if you don't get any reply then the best option will be to apply for GCMS Notes. These notes will give you true picture about your immigration case.

And About Re-Medical Request. CHC ISB sends email to principle applicant these days. And after few days the letter from CIC comes through Registered Pakistan Post. So keep on checking your emails & Mailbox as well.

And don't panic, we (all the forum members) are in the same boat. In sha Allah every thing will be fine soon for all of us (aameen) so don't lose hope

As I am waiting for CHC to request re-medical, a friend of mine suggested to get it done in advance to save time.

I don't think it's a good idea and I am not doing it.

I don't think so this wud be feasible coz as u hv got through first medical.... thy askd the specified things to get it done and might asked u to do tht again evn if u hv done.... so i don't think so.... !!! If tht wud be possible thn i might done it twice till now as 24th month of file transferred has started n nothing done till NOW..... I hate CHC Islamabad ppl....
