my wife was also e-mailed re-med form recently...is it the IMM1017? when did you do your last med exam, if at all? this might be a pilot program just to speed things up since mail takes too long.

ive got the same form via email.. can any of you confirm me if IOM karachi is the place for karachites for remedical?

Hello;
Can you please tell me where the status of application shows in process. Is that under sponsor log in with client ID or applicant log in with file number.

My address showing P.O Box number in Dec, sponsorship application status shows in process under sponsor log in and we got an email response that the application is with decision making officer.

From your experience can you tell what all this means. Thanks in advance.

My Timeline (Husband Case):

File Transfer to Islamabad: September 2011.
Medical request and more proof of relationship: July, 2012
Meds received status of E-cas: September, 2012.
Ecas Status changed to "IN PROCESS" : February, 2013

Wait time up till now: 17 months.

Is PPR next? and what is the time they take after chaging status on
Ecas to Issuing out a Passport Request?? Can anyone guide me?

And one more thing i want add that my old passport was about to expire in May
So i made a new passport, what effect will it have on the time it takes to issue a visa??
And at the time of sending my passport which passport should I send them?

My new one?
My old one ?
or both of them?

Probably. But don't rely on ECAS too much.

You mean, Decision Made? It could take anywhere between 5 working days to 2 months in case of PPR only.

None.

Go to the nearest IOM office. It doesn't matter which one you go to, as long as it is the IOM as CHC no longer allows you to go to just any doctor for examination, it has to be at one of the IOM locations. Call them and book an appointment.
