No i don't think that Niakh Nama need any notary public stamp they need the original with registry seal stamp as indicated on the checklist :

If you were married in Pakistan either by proxy or in person, you should submit a marriage certificate (Nikkah Nama in Urdu) bearing the Nikkah registry seal as evidence that your marriage is properly registered by your union council or the relevant government authority in your region.

MRS SAM did you sent the nikkah nama in urdu ? with translation ? or you sent the english version of nikkah nama ?

i send them marriage certificate which was in english because i got married in USA

any good news to day...

any ppr to day??/?

Pardesi,

Do whatever you think is right then. .. .

Thanks for replies :) so B form is not required ? so why sending a document which is not required and can confuse them ?

Nikah Nama in english, I didnot done it for immigration purpose, but now we have choice to have Nikkah Nama in urdu and english maybe before it was not the case. And we filled both on Nikah day. What confused me was they were asking in checklist the one in Urdu. I was thinking of sending just the english one, will it be a problem ?

Why do I have to attest the nikkah nama ? while we are sending the original nikah nama with embossed stamps already on it. They don't say this anywhere in guide and checklist.

Omar bro what is going on?

Don;t you also think if they did not need our pp and they knw they cant issue the visa they would have send it back?

i just hope the second one is true cuz it makes more sense the person is not coming here for a visit that they should have a validity for 6 months

First of all, relax.

Second, on the PPR i received, it is mentioned that PP has to be valid for 12 months.

Third, it's a matter of hunch for you now. You may or may not want to ask CHC to send the PP back. Sleep over all the odds and then decide, but now you will have to act fast.

Hello!
I would like to share my timeline with you all!

Category........: FAM (husband case)
Visa Office......: CHC-ISL
App. Filed.......: 29-06-2011
File Transfer...: 25-08-2011
additional Doc's Request.: 12-05-2012
AOR Received.: 12-05-2012
PCC req- aug 30 2012
Re-med- sept 25 2012
ppr req- Nov 28 2012
ppr stamped + recieved -dec 18, 2012

I would also like to mention, that my husband lived in Saudi Arabia, And i went to visit him and stayed out of the country for 8 months. I recieved a lot of criticism here for doing that and was SUPER worried! People were saying things like how my case would get complicated by me leaving the country and all. But altogether the process took 18 months for me.. which I dont think is bad.. and leaving the country did not have a negative impact on my case. I just provided them with my return ticket. and a letter from my work stating that I will be returning, also filed my taxes and all and sent them pix from my stay here with the add. docs.
Over all, going to live in saudi was GREAT, i got to perform Hajj and loved the country lots of Halal food lol. Sooo GO VISIT your spouses if you can!!! :)
We also made sure we didnt annoy them and almost never emailed them.. just remained patient and waited. Never ordered GCMS notes. since my lawyer said its better not to since it might make them wonder why we keep ordering the notes.
Our lawyer helped us assemble our docs in the beginning.. but overall he was pretty useless if you can do it yourself then it just saves you $250
We also paid our fees when we applied.. My hubby went back to pak to get his meds done.. since it was seemed a little sketchy in riyadh, saudi arabia. the hospital didnt know what they were doing and we didnt wna take any risks what so ever

hmm thats all i can think of.. any other questions you can ask me! :)
good luck to you all!

Happy New year to everyone and may this year bring you good news to all of you :)

I have 2 clarifications to ask.

-1 Do we have to attach Birth Registration Certificate and also the B Form ? B form should be translated as it is always in urdu ? (also what is the difference ?)

Also for my daughter (2 years old now) I have the Birth registration certificate done by CDA Islamabad, and then I have registration in Nadra which is in urdu. I only have to attach the CDA document ? or I have to translate the Nadra one too ?

2- Nikkah Nama : In Check list they say Nikkah Nama in Urdu. At our mariage we had filled both in English and in Urdu, so I have the both original, Which one to send ? if we have to send the Urdu one do we have to translate it ? or can I just send both ? Hopping It won't confuse them.

Thanks for your help :)
send original both URDU and ENGLIGH NIKAH NAMA. They need to be attested by ministry of foreign affairs.
I did it. Hope it will help
