I would notify CHC Islamabad as soon as possible the expected date of delivery if the physician hasn't done so already (not sure if they do that?). Since your spouse is a Canadian citizen, the child born will automatically be considered a Canadian citizen. You don't have to add the child to your application, no medical examination or fee is required. You must, however, send CHC-I a copy of his or her birth certificate. Other members can perhaps add to this? As far as the length of the process is concerned, I can only guess... no one can give you a specific time length. You just have to go through the process/steps as they come along...

Yea I have already informed Delhi and CHC isl .unfortunately my husband is nt yet Canadian citizen ,he still has few month to go .do u have any Idea how do we deal with my childs application in such situation.will my husband has to submit the child's sponsorship application in Canada ?

I would suggest you get your MP to do a case query and also order GCMS notes to see progress and what they are thinking.

Any July Remed/PPR people with updates? I'm going crazy now, few days ago MP told me all background checks done and pending review of medical! She wasnt sure if that means New Dehli hasn't evaluated or Islamabad hasn't reviewed but ECAS shows nothing. It's been 50+ days.

I'm nearing a critical juncture again, having delayed vacation, I don't know when passport will be back...hoping not one of those 4-6 month cases...any senior members with experience for this? Everything done but apparently not the medical...thanks.
