GCMS notes helps those when there is unusual delay in the case.

all i feel is satisfied being among you all .......it feel very pleasant when i come on forum and we share our thoughts and frustration ......i think if there would be no forum like this we all would be a part of the mental hospital.....its so stress full waiting and waiting for long time to start new life one can have several plans several ideas to implement....i hope Allah inshaaAllah will reward us by our pp and visas very soon inshaaAllah ameen summa ameen.

Nope. Ecas is still 'In process', but address had changed a month ago:

We received application for permanent residence on October 11, 2011.

We started processing application on August 9, 2012.

Medical results have been received.

I didnt care how long it took before, but since they gave me the deadline to land before the med expires, atleast they should hold their end of the responsibility and give the passport back.

I think they're counting it as medical received when they planned on using the same medical submitted initially. This has sort of back-fired against me cuz now there is a deadline involved because of which I had to quit my job.
