CHC, Islamabad Spouse Sponsorship Timeline 2011 -2012

Allah ka shukar hai, I have finally exited the long, dark, and narrow tunnel :) Today, my wife received her passport back along with her original documents through TCS. Interesting though that she submitted the passport through FedEx Gerry's visa service or something like that, but I am not complaining :) I will post my detailed timeline sometime today or tomorrow. For now I leave you with this:

February 5th, 2011 - Mailed my sponsorship application with my wife's permanent residence application via post office in Mississauga

September 8th, 2012 - Passport/Visa delivered to my wife's doorstep in Rawalpindi.

Total processing time: 19 months and 3 days! :)

I ve read on this forum that once u sent ur medical, it is forwarded to india for processing. They(india) may take 10 weeks to return the results of the medical. Once the CHC-1 receives the results from India then they say medical results received rather than Remedical received. For some cases Medical received is quicker than others but the maximum time is 10 weeks. I did re medical on 19 june and no news abt medical. But I hope we all hear some thing soon Inshallah.

y does it take tht long(10 weeks) just to send medical results back to CHC-I. Yesterday I got the tracking number of re-medical nd it says medical results were sent on 25 July, 2012 nd were received in India on 27 July, 2012. so they count days from when they receive the results not from the date when the medical is done? nd InshAllah we all wil hear good news soon :)
