could any body tell me the process for gcms infact process if u have applied ur application through consaltant ?

is it nessesry to apply gcms through consaltant

as my addres on ECAS is not showing consaltants address as it was before i applied

2) But if you want to order it on your own there are two ways.

a) If you have a friend / relative in canada it would cost you just $5 and you will get that in around 30 days.

b) If you don't have a relative or friend in Canada then you can get it from websites and it would cost around $25-$40 and you will get in six to eight weeks..

As you have a relative / friend there it would cost you just $5. Its very easy. Your relative / friend will order this on your behalf and he will be the requester. It can be done by email and your relative / requester can send scan copies of everything. Your relative / friend will receive CAIPS / GCMS notes in his email.

First fill the following form but your relative / friend will sign it as he is the requester.

Then you will have to fill this consent form and sign yourself

y does it take tht long(10 weeks) just to send medical results back to CHC-I. Yesterday I got the tracking number of re-medical nd it says medical results were sent on 25 July, 2012 nd were received in India on 27 July, 2012. so they count days from when they receive the results not from the date when the medical is done? nd InshAllah we all wil hear good news soon

India processing unit not always takes 10 weeks. Their maximum time limit is 10 weeks. It may be shorter depending on case to case and also luck. Reason I mentioned 10 weeks is bc if u r within 10 weeks not there is nothing to worry.

Congratz to you ! i dun get one thing for some ppl its taking 12-13 months and some its take 17-19 months why is that does anyone know? does it vary on cases to cases?

I think in the middle of 2011 there were new forms issued, the ones with bar codes. maybe the new ones are getting processed faster.

Hello dear members as some may know from my earlier posts I am sponsoring my wife and she will be doing re-medical on sep 10 and sending her passport on sep 11. I am a canadian citizen and my wife is currently pregnant and will deliver sometime end of january to middle of february inshallah. Some people here have said for 90 days once she arrives she will not be covered. My question is , does anyone know a number or place I can go can find out like Health Canada, etc or something. Because I want to be exactly sure and also how much it would cost to deliver the baby here in Canada. I live in Ontario if that is relevant.

Allah ka shukar hai, I have finally exited the long, dark, and narrow tunnel Today, my wife received her passport back along with her original documents through TCS. Interesting though that she submitted the passport through FedEx Gerry's visa service or something like that, but I am not complaining I will post my detailed timeline sometime today or tomorrow. For now I leave you with this:

February 5th, 2011 - Mailed my sponsorship application with my wife's permanent residence application via post office in Mississauga

September 8th, 2012 - Passport/Visa delivered to my wife's doorstep in Rawalpindi.

Total processing time: 19 months and 3 days!

since your oct 2011 did you file your application with new froms or the old ones
